The Last Of Us

But it spoils nothing?

I sorta agree. It was a great moment in the game, but until you get that build up towards that part of the game, just watching it without the build up really doesn't do much.

I was in awe when I first saw it, and I'd be in awe when I play the game again on PS4, but it won't be like when I first saw it and had that huge build up towards it... Those who've not played the game will enjoy that moment more then in that short, and lets face it pretty pointless trailer..

Agreed.

So you didn't feel a sense of awe at that point which the video shows? Would you rather have known what was coming up?

As above, you're looking at this from the perspective of knowing how it goes, if you were watching it without playing it you could almost think it's how the game starts.

There is no context or anything in this clip.

Yes, I see that but in the back of your mind, if you hadn't played the game and after watching that, you were, would you not have an inkling that that clip was the bit coming up.

Anyway, I think that'll do now. My head's hurting.

Sold my Last of us to CEX for £12 today. I'd finished it once but didn't get DLC. Loads of rumours saying GTA 5 coming to PC/PS4/XB1 in June. Might end up selling that one as well.

Fairly linear, although many of the areas are big enough that you can do a decent bit of exploring to find resources, hidden collectable stuff, additional dialogue between the characters etc. An open world game simply wouldn't be able to pull off a story like this nearly so effectively.

I've still got my last of us Joel special edition , only used the blu ray to play the game, rest is still in the box not used.

I'd like the digital ps4 version, likely I'll end up with physical as it could be way more expensive on psn. Interesting to see amazon UK have no pre order page up yet. Amazon us does

Cheers, so still probably worth getting. I really want a game that I can immerse myself in; something which I haven't done in years!

What multiplayer does it offer?

I have the Joel one too. If I'd just bought the regular one I'd perhaps have considered selling it to fund the Remastered edition, but as it is I'll be waiting for it to go cheap. They had full-price out of me once already.

Last of us on ps3 had a fairly popular multiplayer mode, not played it myself, I just enjoyed the single player aspect of the game...

ps4 will be just the same, just 1080 visuals , cleaner image, higher fps and I dont see it being much more then this, as its a remaster not a remake or built from the ground up for ps4. but last of us on ps3 looked pretty darn good already, if anything the look helped it as its about a apocalyptic world, the grainy ps3 look in places I felt added to it, something I think the cleaner ps4 version might remove, unless naughty dog have some tricks up their sleeves, which no doubt as very talented development studio...
