It does look quite a similar jersey. Think the Sportful one looks better, though.

now see, I prefer the Gore one
I never really liked the look of sportful clothing, and I hate Castelli stuff, I think they look awful

are these Jerseys same as my Altura Night Vision? it has a fleece lined, but im not sure if my wardrobe wants another one of these? I was kinda thinking something mid way between the s/s one and a L/s one

Just to follow up on my 'cannot adjust toe-in of brake pad' gripes, I've just received 4 Ultegra cartridge brake shoes:

You can see the concave washer for adjusting the angle of the brake pad relative to the rim. Much better. Stopping power is also vastly improved over the generic pads that were on before.

I have been avoiding this thread due to my shameful lack of cycling this year, blamed the weather and then jobs around the house but mainly its Battlefield 4's fault ;)

Anyway, on monday off to the velodrome for a taster session, really looking forward to that but on sunday i have a sportive - i did the 60m route last year and am booked in for the 90 this year :o

Between school hols, work and the Velo trip i have hardly any time to get some rides in, i have only done 200km ish this year and nothing in April...

Ohh dear, i have stocked up on energy gels, bars and drink and will practice drafting - need to draft someone for 90 miles ;)

I'm thinking about a wheel upgrade but I'm wondering if it's worth it and what to go for.

I've got a 2009 Boardman Team Carbon, generally well looked after and a few non-stock bits like the cassette but the wheels have certainly done a fair few miles and taken a battering.

How much should I looking to spend on a new wheel set and does anyone have any recommendations?

Fulcrum Racing 3 if Shimano/SRAM. Campagnolo Zonda if Campag.

Went for my 4th ride this year & surprisingly still in 17mph avg 'gang' :D

Can I join the gang? I did my fastest ever long ride today... 80mi, 5500ft climbing, 17.4mph average :)

because I'm not a long distance rider! :) I want to crack the metric century first before kicking off with imperial! hopefully I'll manage both this year!

I said the same last year. Set out to do a metric one, and I did that on March 4th. Ended up doing an imperial one in the summer as well.

I have Zonda's with Shimano/SRAM freehub on my wet/winter setup, picked them up barely used 2nd hand and they were the newer 11sp option so perfect for future proofing.

I think the reason is people say dont mix Shimano and Campag, its not the done "thing".

Why not Zonda's if shimano?? Genuine question as I've been eyeing up the Zonda's for my Caad8

No particular reason, just personal preference. They can be bought with a Shimano freehub but my inner bike tart wouldn't allow Campag wheels on a Shimano equipped bike!:p

Fulcrum are owned by Campagnolo and the R3 are just Zondas with a different sticker and spoke pattern.
