Funny. Not all are infractions are like that are they. A few months back I got one for not posting an image in the Post An Image thread. What happened was, I was browsing through the images and saw one that made me chuckle, so I quoted the image telling the poster that I liked that. However some fascist mod who shall remain unnamed, gave me an infraction for not posting an image myself. I thought this was ultra petty as it was an honest oversight on my part and hardly worth any punishment.
Also hardly worth on my profile forever either !

Anyway, we all know that the power of a ban hammer eventually takes over the person using it
Also, do the Dons have a board somewhere with their 'ban of the week'. And maybe a page of stats somewhere with the top 10 removed posts?

It does stay on record and that's important as if you've received infractions for something before and you're still doing it you're more likely to get a suspension.

The infraction was there so that you knew what you did wrong and can learn from your mistake rather than just deleting the message. That "fascist" Don decided that you'd like to avoid a suspension and effectively gave you the heads up. Nice to know we get thanks for that.
