Think of all the bitchy waste of time emails they would have to go throughto find out the social ssecurity number of mum's with 10 kids bitter at life after husband has left them
Followed by finding all they have stolen is debt from having to feed said kids

Now read the relationship threads here. Swap every instance of "man" for "woman" (or equivalent) and vice versa, and that's a perfect description of the those threads here. Congratulations: you've just discovered that homogeneous groups support each other against outsiders. Just as the mainly-female Mumsnet assumes the woman is always in the right, the mainly-male OcUK assumes the man is always in the right.

I know nothing of Mumsnet (except it's made it on the TV several times and David Cameron brought it up due to petitions) but sometimes this places acts like journalists. Anything for a bit of sensationalism.

But why mumsnet users seem to get consulted every time there is a story in the news that relates to mums?

I don't remember ocuk (or other computer related forum) getting a namecheck when it comes to things like Heart Bleed or internet privacy.

I've been around the block quite a few times (namechanged so you don't know it's me!!) I spent a few years as a swinger and have seen many different approaches to the postcoital cleanup, we prefer an old sheet shoved under the bed which is washed the next morning, I've seen baby wipes, tissues, underwear, one used the curtains, some didn't bother and <boak> I've seen people who clean each other after with their tongues!!
