which lower league games are you betting on? and where are you looking to get the stats needed to make your mind up? i didnt even know hong kong had a league :P

Yeah. City gunning for the title, and Sunderland almost playing for nothing. Everton fighting for top 4 and Palace with nothing to play for!... Mad night, though I was never confident of Everton. Palace are no mugs(football-wise) under Pulis.

But the whole thing about this Facebook guy is ridiculous. You can't really tip much in football, especially clean sheets and btts and this guy seems to do quite often.

But that's why they call it gambling? Even the bookies had the odds highly stacked in Everton's and City's favour indicating they were heavy favourites? A guy posted his double coupon on Skybet, Palace and Sunderland both to win and got over 120/1! Even a draw for City Sunderland would have been 50/1 or greater. There are safe bets but nothing is guaranteed.
 
I'm following one of those £10-£10k people on facebook, he posted city and everton to win (i think)

He had £10 on to win £13.80 or something silly. No chance was i going for that. Sunderland are a proven bogey team for city, and seeing as we're at the end of the season when pressure's all over the place with titles being decided and relegation looming, anyone can beat anyone.

So, i went for Monaco to score at any time, and Barca-Real more than 2.5 goals, turned £10 into £19.70 :)
 
Personally I don't buy in to these 'banker' type escapades being any better or worse than any other type of bet (assuming the odds are 'fair'). In other words growing £10 into £10k is no safer/riskier with these incremental-acca bets on low odds than picking any other bets where you think there is value to be had. It also takes quite a while to see it through to a conclusion i.e. I guess you have to wait weeks if not months to find out if you've got nothing (very likely) or a decent wedge.

People talk about 'coupon busters' where a heavy favourite not winning being unlucky but that is just part and parcel of betting, if you bet on a 1/6 market enough times then losing once isn't that unlikely (if it was then the odds would be lower or we'd all be millionaires!)

The way I (try to!) bet these days is mostly looking at fixtures and predicting what odds the home/away team will have in the basic 1x2 market. I then compare my prediction with Oddschecker and see if anything has a significant difference. If so then that implies to me that something must be overpriced and I'll look at 'having a bang on' (c) Ray either that or a related market such as Asian Handicap. This of course has an inherent assumption that I can predict the likelihood of the outcomes with a reasonable degree of accuracy, but if I didn't have faith in that then there would be no point gambling anyway!

all good points, i've only liked the "super tipster" and 5 minutes into kick off there are people doubting his selections that despite doubting them chose them anyways.

my rolling over 0.5 acca is still somehow doing well, started with £1 and now im at £8.14
