BrilliantBased on your criteria, Jimmy Savile fulfills 3 of the requirements for being Man Utd manager, and I'm not sure how good he was at football.

Is Gary Neville still employed by the club?
He probably gets backhanders for not criticising Moyes on Sky, I read earlier that an ex Man United player has been suspended from MUTV for saying that Moyes is out of his depth.
Not as far as I know, but his brother is.

If we get a top manager.
If he spends £100M+.
He will absolutely compete for the title next year. This is a given - we are Man Utd after all.
We won't give up until the whistle has blown.
It just shows how much our standards have fallen - that fans now believe that we cannot win the league. Remember this, just 10 months ago, our team won the league, with ease. As quickly as Moyes sucked the confidence/ability out of our team, a top manager will instill it back into the players. This is the job of a manager.
You don't go from champions to has-beens in 10 months. Its actually impossible for this to happen UNLESS something drastic is going on behind the scenes. In this case, that was Moyes. But now the cancer is being removed, our players should now return to their previous performance levels. Moyes can no longer be used as an excuse and the players will know this.
We have a great team. Don't let Moyes tell you otherwise.
19:30. I'm not sure what Gnev can say unless it's confirmed by then, he might refuse to comment.
...Solskjaer.....
After the terrible job he's done at Cardiff? You'd have thought Utd have learnt their lesson from Moyes and won't take a needless gamble again.
It wouldn't be Cardiff, it would be United! I really liked the documentary about him at Molde.
Neil Warnock in at Man U.
