Nice car, I prefer the E class to the 5 series, it just feels more premium to me, even if the BMW is probably the better drivers car.

I didn't drive a BMW because I was messed around so much. The interior felt awfully tacky and substandard to the Merc IMO.

Very nice! I picked up my 2013 C220 AMG Sport Plus last week and I'm also loving it.

Merc have certainly turned a corner since the rust buckets they used to produce!

Whilst the E-class is no doubt always going to be a pretty decent car I think they've ruined the looks, much prefer the previous style, it's all gone a bit soft now the rear lights have a cheap look about them when lit.

Really? I wouldn't have gone for the older one for the exact same reason. This is so much more aggressive looking.

I have to agree - they've lost it a little on the front end with the blunt look watered down. The rear end is still a winner though. I much prefer the pipes on the rear of the E.

The older, squarer front lights are just about perfect for me, I don't think that the rounded lights look aggressive at all, nor do they flow as nicely into the bonnet lines and crease in the side.

It's less the lights and more the lower splitter for me. The pic I put on doesn't really do it justice but it improves the front for me

Not sure what you mean. Was yours a manual? Mine's an auto.

The brake on an auto usually stands proud of the accelerator.

Sooo much better looking than the 5-series, on the outside. I really dont like the interior on these, though I wish they had kept it in line with the 222 S-Class.
