the fd core 1000 is a matx so...
but in any case, the full atx + case would be 3 quid more expesive so not much difference there

you save ~50-100 quid just by building it yourself, loads of utube vids that teach you step by step

There might be a problem with K2, but the Raijintek EreBoss will do just fine.
You can always place the ram in the black slots, it'll work...

I changed the RAM to low profile, 5 pounds isn't fortune and it'll save some hassle in the future.

Where are you based? There are people offering you help, someone from OCUK community will definitively help. You'll get better specs when buying parts separately, isn't that what you want?

I live 30 miles away from London, but if it that cheers you up. I've built a PC when i was 12, its a piece of cake and there are lots of tutorials now. No one is going to make you buy the parts, instead of pre-built. But you'll get better performance for less
