What have you done to your car today?

Just been informed by the missus that Puma 2 headlight bulb on passenger side is out. That's what I WILL be doing later, complete with expletives, skinned knuckles and a headache...

Pulled and cleaned the MAP Sensor as it was clogged with **** just took it out for a drive and the difference is worlds apart :D Wahoo full power.

Need a new aux belt though as its squeeking a little bit :( Summer should hurry so i can get some work done on it fixing a couple of nicks/dings etc

Echo the above my astra is wheel arch jobbie :') Not nice when ur ballast dies

Puma? Grill off, headlight loosened or perhaps even removed completely...change bulb with those clips that either don't budge or fly off about a million miles away...

Car (Leon Cupra R) started running rough and misfiring Thursday after the coolant temperature was all over the place on Monday.

It was due a service anyway so she's had:

New plugs, replaced a coil pack, oil & filter change, new coolant temperature sensor, thermostat and fresh coolant.

Several hours later she is now running really well, will hopefully get a few more MPG too.

washed, vacuumed inside, cleaned dash/seats, cleaned windows and replaced wipers with cheapo Valeo's. Lets see how long it takes for these to start juddering:p

Washed it.

A quick wash though - no clay, polish, wax, etc, did that about 6 weeks ago. Just a quick wash, tyres and wheels done, windows cleaned and Rain-X'd.

Fitted genuine BMW Evo wiper blades. I thought the car had some cheap nasty things on there before, but looking at them again they look like Bosch Super Plus', but they were that rubbish they must've been on the car for years. I will soon find out if buying genuine BMW ones was a waste of money. Saying that my step-dad has them on his Touring and they seem pretty good.

Next weekend will be lower control arms and bushes.

I've found genuine BMW wipers (that are Bosch made) to be quite a bit better than the Bosch ones that were on my E60 before. Certainly had much better fitting.

Parked it in front of a Castle, well, our Hotel!
