Can't wait until tonights episode. Literally watched the first 3 seasons and up to the latest in Season 4 in the space of two and half weeks. The ending to season 3 left me generally gutted and contemplated not watching any more. Then I grew a pair.

game of thrones is like that. **** things happen to good people.

This was made very clear when Edd Stark got the axe in front of his daughter.

The Wedding left me gutted too, if that's what you're getting at?

Can't believe how many plot lines/characters that one act affected!

Yeah the wedding (episode 9). I'm never normally too fussed about characters being killed off, actually the opposite sometimes want to the the good guys suffer a little but this blew my mind. Thankfully with Joffery made up for it a little although wouldve liked to see him suffer a bit more!:p

Two and half weeks? Not hardcore enough. We managed two whole series in two days. One of those days was on an expensive holiday!! (granted, I did have a bad botty, but my goodness, we are sad).

Yes. I think it will be a difficult episode for people who have read the books to discuss with non book readers though.

Poor Hodor.

hodor, hodor? .... hodor :( Was a good episode but I'll be taking brans arms off next if he doesn't get a grip.

Just had a thought. what happened with the spiders storyline of the guy who chopped his nuts off being delivered in a freakin box? and well... the spider in general.

Yes, on account of virtually all plots being completely different :p

I mean, what the **** is Ghost doing captive? CGI costs too much, the show's plot is literally being changed for the worse due to budget limits. Books fortunately have a limitless budget :D

Also, I would pay so much money to have Natalie Dormer slink into my room at night all sexy like that. Of course I wouldn't just let her walk off though...

Also, it felt like the sacking of Meereen was brushed over quite quickly which is a bit of a shame. Also, I am right in thinking that's Vargo Hoat in Castle Black right...bizzare?

I thought it was Hoat as well...no idea what's going on there!

Out of interest, if white walkers are largely a result of taking Craster's children, does that mean that they're all inbred?

That explains why they look funny then...

Also that whole committee meeting for the baby with the ice stonehenge is completely fabricated just FYI.

Hoat doesn't exist in TV land. It's Locke who is a Bolton man and basically took on the role of Hoat at Harrenhal. Bolton sent him to look for Bran and Rickon iirc a couple of episodes ago

As an avid book reader I am completely okay with the majority of the changes to the show. And the big one this week was awesome! Actually in many ways I find myself enjoying the TV show more than I did the books at this point. They are often bloated and tiresome - George's pacing is woeful!

I get the feeling that we are never going to see any actual battles, live action or CGI, in this show if a capture of an entire empire was is illustrated with just 1 guy getting killed in an alleyway with his bodyguards running away in the process.

These walking dead zombies that they have been teasing for a couple of years now, if we don't get to see them fight a giant battle then it is going to be the biggest disappointment since the cancellation of Firefly.
