Are you kidding me?

It will be the screen, there are threads about this monitor in the monitor section with people looking for ones made on specific dates that are less prone to this issue.

There is also a user at oveclock.net who took his apart and messed around with the USB PCB which is in the bottom left corner to help relieve pressure on the screen and it improved it a lot.

I don't know, but logically you have been through several different types / brands of monitor with the same issue, which would suggest something else?

Nah mate, the two original Hazros were clearly dodgy and their panels were detached from the housing. Nothing GCard related at all. In fact the Hazros had a lack of light, not too much :)

The new DELL has this problem inherent and there are loads of threads, inc in this forum.

Yeah, asking for RMA now. It's prominent on BF4 dark maps but TESO looks amazing. It seems to be getting slightly worse now too. Let's wait to see what DELL say

Just like to say excellent work OCUK, and that is one hell of a replacement :o

Well not yet it's not. OP still doesn't have a fully working panel.
Fair play to OCUK for going above the order but again it raises the question, why in this case was the panel not checked before being given to the customer?

I appreciate all monitors can't be checked but sensitive cases like this need some kind of QC from OC.

Because quality assurance is down to the manufacturer, not retailer.

Very true, but a frickin Dell U2713HM and a headset, just saying...
Awesome sauce.

I did check the monitor myself and there was not any back bleed. It seems like this has occurred as it was fine, and got worse from what BaDBoY_uK is saying. DELL are replacing the unit, so let's hope it is a monitor that finally works properly! :)

6th time lucky? ;)

The backlight bleed was very noticable at LAN and ruined games such as TESO, BF4 and ARMA3 but I would swear I didn't notice it on that Thursday. I am at home waiting for the DELL man to arrive. You did ask me to speak to DELL directly should anything else arise

Credit to OCUK. They obviously made a mistake but helped along the way. I'd rather have not had the situation of course but the DELL is an amazing piece of kit

Update - just had a phone call - at 1pm - to say my monitor is out of stock and won't be delivered today

I am so unlucky

Feel for you dude I really do. Was going to come up to Eon at i51 but didnt. You going i52? Gonna have to give me a shout next time. Have a beer. :D

With your luck I'd never leave the house incase of a freak accident.

I know... I am surprised I make it into London each day. Not sure who I have offended to curse me like this haha. God of BF4. Maybe DICE have it in for me given my hate for them
