Someone give the man some bacon ffs
If this thread is silly then Islam is just as silly.
What wold you say to a person who lived their life by the teachings of the Star Wars books?
Same goes for religion made up stuff that is an emotional crutch for the weak of mind and mentally ill
Do you realise that you undermine your own opinions and "intelligence" with this sort of attitude?
No he doesn't. He's absolutely correct in what he says. Any intelligent free thinking person who studies theology can clearly see that religion is man made and not divinely inspired.

What the hell are you on about?
even I don't know
still its more credible than any other religion so why not
credible is not the word i'd pick but I did laugh
That's about as wrong as one can be, in fact some of the greatest minds have left room for religion.
Yes and they were wrong. Religion relies on faith. Faith is belief without evidence. It's what children do with Santa Claus. All we have is the claims of holy books. Claims of holy books claiming that they are proof of god are a logical fallacy. A claim can not be in it's self be proof of the claim it makes. This is circular reasoning and fallacious. So what are we left with ? Well, apart from con men and alleged prophets claiming to have a direct line to god, not much really. Holy books contradict themselves with shocking regularity, their professed divine morality is abhorrent, and primitive, secular morality is far superior.
To believe in god, you must believe there is some evidence for the numinous, some validity to the transcendent, some evidence of the divine in order to avoid the childish magical and wishful thinking which faith on it's own promulgates.
There is an inverse correlation between intelligence/knowledge and a belief in a deity. The more information a society has, the better educated they are, the less likely they are to believe in sky pixies.
Any intelligent free thinking person who studies theology can clearly see that religion is man made and not divinely inspired.
So not
Any intelligent free thinking person who studies theology can clearly see that religion is man made and not divinely inspired.
How is it up there? is the air too thin?![]()
Again your own interpretation, my issue was with simply
Which simply was not true. Whether or not you disagree with others assessments is irrelevant to the incorrectness of your statement.
You tell me, is it Islam itself that is fundamentally sexist or just the Muslims who follow Islam?
Same with discrimination based upon religion, sexual orientation etc.
Unfortunately I think the answer is both. And this is why we don't want to see an islamification of this country, which no one in this thread has of yet stated reasonably, coherently and clearly, why inviting islam is a positive thing for this country, given our current state of advancement.
This country has a Islamic population and has had one for a very long time, you need to accept that. You speak from a position where this country is yours, and anyone else is an outsider / alien which again isn't the case. The sooner you accept that the better.
