I hate you.
P.S. How much has the whole thing cost you in £££'s? I REALLY want to go next year.
Its really not that expensive, I went in 2012 and the flights were only ~£300 return and Fanfest itself (including all the extra stuff) was like £150-£170 (early bird tickets are much cheaper).
The thing that eats money however is accommodation, any of the nice hotels anywhere near the centre of Reykjavik are quite pricey and you need to book WAY in advance to not get screwed, however there are loads of cheaper ~3 star hotels which cost buttons.
It's a really great event, Harpa is awesome and its just really professionally run, plus the extra events are amazing especially the Blue Lagoon (assuming they still do that). Reykjavik is an really nice city and has some great sight seeing as well as bars and restaurants. One of the nicest things is just being around so many like minded people.
