Yeah man, she'd be filthy.

She scrubs up well.

I'm surprised Tommen didn't have a tent going on under those sheets. Looking forward to Mr KFC appearing again.

I'm a bit worried about brans female friend with those traitors given what they're doing to the other women there >.< And hope I the wolf is ok after falling in the pit, we've lost too many!

Also that Osha does scrub up well...would have never thunk it :D

That was much better. Tied up all of the stuff at Crasters, killed off the pointless characters and got back on track...Still had plenty of useless scenes such as Arya/Hound(though it did have the best lines, with Sandor mocking Meryn Trant in particular) and Dany doing nothing(though now we know that Daario's army does exist...Well we've been told they do at least). But overall best episode of the season by far.

Two stand out performances from this episode- Sansa and Jojen. Jojen was pretty awesome in this episode.

One bit made me cringe- Jon to ghost "where in seven hells have you been".... CGI Jon, it costs money!

The season so far just isn't gripping me, to me it just feels like it sluggishly moving alone with no sense of urgency or direction :(

I feel the same, it's the worse season yet, it just drags. I'm not sure if they are trying to portray a build up but if they are it isn't working. There is no tension and nothing that really keeps me hanging, it just plods along following the boring story of arya and hound yomping across the country, dany flitting around the slavers and the lannisters doing little at all. It feels like the filler part of an incredibly long movie.

The problem is books three and indeed four, both of which are being covered in part by this series were about 800000 pages long, and dragged in parts for eternity before events occurred. They need to build time into the arcs, and set the plot for various things.

A slower episode yes, but not a bad one.
1 2 and 4 were swift, 3 dragged and was certainly duller. 5 tied off loads of things and gave some major reveals. Things we had hints at before, but never confirmation.
Baliesh starting the whole war with the death of JonArran, by his wifes hand, and then instructing her to write the letter. We already know it was his dagger used to implicate Tyrion in the assault on a broken Bran.

He has been playing everyone against each other remarkably well. And now he brings Sansa to the madwoman. Thankfully we were spared any further breastfeeding scenes.

Cersei is building plots of her case, but we see much more of the mother in her, trying to protect Tommen, and missing the daughter greatly now the beast is dead.

Tywin explaining to his now trusted daughter that the realm is the only way forward for house lannister as the bottomless pits of gold are now gone, and expansion and diversification is the only way forward.
