Android abroad, 3 data usage

My brother who went to the US last month didn't have to contact 3 at all since FaH is automatically activated without the need to do anything. He doesn't even remember his My3 account information :p.

Interestingly I flew to Holland this week and was never told to turn my phone off; just to flight mode... even during takeoff?!

KLM? the Dutch seem to be quite savvy when it comes to that sort of thing.

Try telling a plane load of brits bound for Benidorm on Ryanair to switch their phones to flight mode, it's easier just to tell them to turn it off, covers all bases and saves the flight staff having to do tech support for mobile phones :D
