Wow! You think most British people areRacists, homophobes and xenophobes !!!!??

Why don't you emigrate then.

I feel sorry for you I really do, have a nice life just hope that chip on your shoulder don't hold you back to much.

What? A lot more people fall into those categories than you think, they just aren't comfortable saying as much out loud because it isn't PC and they don't want to be alienated by those around them (Who probably feel the same way anyway).

And yes, I do plan on emigrating at some point.

ok Bye.

So your saying that a high percentage if the British public are Racists, homophobes and xenophobes ?
Depends what you mean by "high percentage", but yes, probably there is a reasonable percentage of the British public who see the DM as reflecting their views.

Oh my how is the view from up there ?

Pretty decent.

What' it like to be so out of touch with the common man?

Not being a fan of the Mail has nothing to do with how in touch someone is with your narrow definition of common man.

Indeed! I wish everyone who was as successful felt the same way. Aggressive tax avoidance is much more of a problem to the UK treasury then benefit fraud ever could be.

Tax is the price we pay for living in a civilised country.

What a bizarre thing to say. If tax avoidance is such an issue, then the government either needs to change the laws to disallow it, realise that they need to raise tax in other ways, or stop squandering money on useless things.

These same people that bitch about tax avoidance are the ones that are happily claiming expenses for everything they can creatively imagine.

They wont. When they print their libellous articles they factor in the expected costs of law suits. If it will still turn a profit they run it anyway.

Exactly - their circulation is still good, and the website the most popular news one, so they don't care. As I said, losing libel suits is old hat to them.

Did you hear about the one of the little boy that gave the firefighters £1 for their biscuits and because of that they gave the little boy a tour of the fire station.

I didn't. I wouldn't consider it news worthy. Still, that is quite a generous act on the part of the little boy; I am sure £1 is a fortune in his eyes.

Seriously? She's made millions of pounds, has a social conscience, and had gone out of her way to make the world a better place and all you care about is boobies. Are you 12?

How has she gone out of her way?

And yes, I'd tap that.

I think i dislike rowling more than DM. But hey better watch out what i say about her she may sue me. She was like a super nazi on her copyright of her harry potter stuff even though she has billions, she complained about some little card or something that was similar to harry potter, i don't remember it exactly but it was quite pathetic and greedy of her.

If the Daily Mail is the most revolting major news outlet in the UK; which is saying something given the competition.

As for who reads the Daily Mail, you can see some (slightly dated) stats here: it's fairly average on the class breakdown of readers with many more ABC1 readers than C2DE, skews towards an older readership and has a more even male/female balance of readers than any other major UK paper.
Amusing article.

Never have I been more pleased to sit at the polar opposite to the Daily Star, currently I tend to read the Independent & The Guardian.

Worse still they happily commit tax fraud by buying stuff from Hong Kong or USA and not paying VAT and duty. These are the same people that will happily pay and tradesmen cash in hand.
