Makes me rage when someone doesn't honor re-opening the Rift in the Rift it Forward group. I cant be bothered with the new report procedure either. Buggers.

Just whisper them, 99% of the time they just forget or crashed. Maybe they're 'trying it on' but whispering them usually gets them back in the game.

Generally had good experience with Rift it Forward.

Had one guy who joined and didn't even have 5 keys so couldn't re-open when called for it.

Had another who was joint lowest paragon, I asked if either of them would volunteer for it and he just left the game lol.

But tbh most of the time people are good about it and I get no problems :)

Yeah ive had good experiences so far but today mustve been an off day, tried to whipser him 3 times but he never replied. hopeless. Akkhan farming continues!

Also it seems that Demon Hunter absolutely dominate DPS rankings. I had no idea.

It's down to nats set stacking I would imagine, dh crit chance can be made higher than other classes due to this, plus we can dual wield 1 handers with 2700+dps and stack crit damage through 2 green gems.

Being able to survive to apply that dps is the trick :)

I really want to get back into playing this after playing it on release for about 3-4 months, getting a few max level characters and doing all of the content.

So many changes since I last played though and I've forgot mostly everything about the game!

I guess the best thing for me to do would start a new character and just play through everything again to get to grips with it.

Would my PC still play this OK?

i3 3220, 4GB DDR3, GTX560Ti.

Cheers

Theyre dominating Elemental Damage too though. Check out the top 100, it's 85% Dh!

because softcore so most of them are stacking damage to appear on there, I haven't seen a DH efficiently soloing T6 yet, whereas witch doctors can steam through it who aren't even in the top 100

Right, I could really do with a bit of guidance if anyone is feeling generous??

I've just finished Act V on Expert with this Wizard build here but it's very much been an "equip what appears to make me better" format without paying too much attention to critical damage etc! (mainly as I've no idea what I'm doing! :p)

Obviously I've just unlocked the Adventure mode, which is where I picked up my Rare Staff (which added about 40% damage to my last weapon!)

Can anyone give me some basic pointers as to what I should be looking to upgrade (and change in terms of passive & active skills) and why? (as you can see, I've got the Demons Heart set which my blacksmith forged but I'm not 100% sure whether it's actually any good!)

Thanks for any advice guys (and please, keep it basic as I'm not particularly knowledgeable with the terms in this thread!)

I would aim for the basics then go from there:

Head: Int, Crit, Socket
Shoulder: Int, Vit, All Res/Life/Armour
Chest: Int, Vit, All Res/Life/Armour, 3 sockets
Amulet: Int, Crit Chance, Crit Damage, Elemental Damage
Gloves: Int, Vit, Crit Chance, Crit Damage
Bracers: Int, Vit, Crit Chance, Elemental Damage
Belt: Int, Vit, All Res/Life/Armour
Rings: Int, Crit Chance, Crit Damage
Pants: Int, Vit, All Res/Armour, 2 sockets
Weapon: Int, Highest damage possible, Socket
Boots: Int, Vit, All Res/Armour, Movement Speed

Those are pretty much the basics. After you aim for that you can start adapting your gear around what skills you are using and instead of maybe armour in one slot you can get +x% skill damage, or if you health is really high you could maybe switch Vit on one item for a DPS stat.

Most Wizard builds are going to have one core thing that defines them, and both the rest of the build and/or gear is built around it. Such as a fire Wizard often will rotate around a Mirrorball/Cindercoat, and a cold Wizard will often build around the Arcane Orb skill or a Winter Flurry. You can't really decide at the point you are at right now as you need to build around what legendaries you get as we can't pick and choose what we have drop. I would say browse through the cookie cutter builds for each element and find one you like, and use that for the interim until you get some items that can define a whole build.

I would aim for 70 first though, most gear you get at 61 will be worthless at 70. Notable exception being something like a Cindercoat.

Got a lv 70 The Witching Hour from Kadala last night, would be around 15-18k shards gambled on that. So keep trying it can be gambled for as I was starting to worry.
