I won't be pre-ordering another DICE game, you've got to be stupid now to pre-order another DICE game with all the issues BF4 has.

I was looking forward to Battlefront as i'm a big Star Wars fan, but not any longer.

to be honest, i think you're giving them too much credit with the BF5 beta suggestion. They've proved before that they are quite capable of losing progress made in the development of a game when releasing its successor. Look at the state BF4 was released in.

I wouldnt be surprised if they fix BF4, a year after launch, then battlefront comes out next year with the same issues as BF4 did at launch. Battlefront is the next DICE game and due 2015. The next EA game is out Q3 this year and rumored to be a frostbite engined police game (ie CS:GO clone) but its not a DICE game and instead a MOH replacement by a company to to release a game every 2 years alternately with DICE for EA. Their next game will probably be 2016.

BF5 may not be until 2017.

you really think theyll wait that long :p

a new product for bf will be out in october guaranteed ! they don't miss cash ins now. that's why you have this mess in the first place. they need to get stuff out every october and they dropped medal of honor now . so its only bf every october.


this is whats going to happen this summer.

we learned our lesson with bf4 and we know we had issues but... we brought forward the new beta style testing to help stop this happening again so with this in place we are glad to announce bf5 or whatever its called will now :p (e3) launch in october be sure to pre order premium to take part in September beta.

knowing ea and pricing they will probably even raise the price :D

same people who moaned about bf for last 3 yrs will all buy again :D and thread will mirror bf3/bf4.
 
Just got the CTE account but don't know if I will bother with it "much" :p

and I agree with tony, majnu etc.

I am definitely not pre-ordering any more future DICE titles, will only buy them if:

1 - they are actually any good
2 - not an alpha version of the game

This is pretty much what i've heard as well.

the game this october is a forstbite engined Police shooter, so not a battlefield game, but will probably have battlefield in its name somewhere. Its also not from DICE. and as I said earlier, an MOH replacement using battlefield in its name in an attempt to cash in.

the next DICE game they are all working on now is Battlefront due 2015.
 
heres my prediction for E3.

1) a game with a name implying a link with battlefield games but not actually from DICE. due out this year. Hype train to be kicked in by EA once announced at E3,

2) more details of the star wars game hinted at last year. Made by DICE and due out 2015.
