Someone at work's cat has had kittens.... must....resist....
EDIT:
Can someone please advise on first year costs i should expect for the following (kitten):
Worming
Flea treatment
Vaccination
and also:
Future vaccinations/boosters
Microchip
I pay a monthly fee of £22 for my two cats combined. That covers their jabs, flea treatment and worming treatments, as well as 6 monthly check ups. Otherwise jabs are between £50-£60 per cat, which I just can't fork out in one go, so doing it this way is more economical, plus you can have the most expensive flea stuff and it doesn't cost any more.
Please get your cat insured as well, I pay £25 a month for my two combined and it's been worth every penny more than once.
Thanks!
My local Vet has a healthcare plan of £180 for:
Primary vaccination course
First Year Flea Treatment
First Year worming
Six Month health check
First booster vaccination
Just not sure where to go from there really. What worming options do i have going forward? Looks like they can be expensive.
Yes, going with John Lewis most probably for the insurance, or petplan.
Go with pet plan. If I recommend you, I get money off and so do you!(serious offer)
If you get a flea treatment like advocate, it does the worming as well (apart from tape worm) but then you get a quarterly tablet including in the plan which you just give them once every 3 months, and you're covered![]()
