Wildstar New MMO (NCSoft and Carbine Studios)

Depends which one seems like it will be popular. As it stands just now i'll probably roll on Ascension though as it was the Nexus server, so far it's the one with the shortest queue times for PvP.

Edit - seems the button sends an ajax request to the server. If you keep spamming it then it eventually works, you don't need to refresh the page. No idea if it actually accepted the name i chose though.

when you save a name or guild name it will bring up a 60 min timer once that reaches 0 your name/g name is reserved

We don't know for sure but we discussed it on mumble and thought no timer and just "??" meant it was already potentially reserved. Bad news for my guild though as our guild name is potentially taken already despite all of us officers trying since the site went up :(
 
pretty sure ?? means the timer hasn't started as i tried to reserve a guild name too but only a character name had the timer
 
I'm not a MMO know it all by any stretch but I really liked it. It's oddly refreshing to be excited about a mmo at the mo, I couldn't stomach playing WoW again, sick of getting shot around a corner every 5minutes on BF4, I'm sick of everyone telling me they've slept with my mam on CS and Dota... Well I love dota but I've been playing it less and less latley!

So tbh really looking forward to it.
Art style - Love it tbh fresh air from what we have been getting lately IMO
Combat system - After a little fiddling and rebinding really enjoyed it on spellslinger only class I've tried though
Story - Don't care next, next, next it as usual.
Quests - Well... Its defo a MMO kill this find that stuff but what I really loved was the explorer things! I can see these been very difficult as time goes on, reminds me a little of the CS1.6 jump maps.

All the other stuff like housing and loot is pretty much lost on me but I like just how much there is to do in MMO's and WS seems jamped packed!

Pre ordered.
 
Did you not get/see the message below that that says something like name reserve accepted, editable for the next hour? To edit or change the name just do a refresh of the page and re-input. Thats what worked for me.

Edit: Reserved my name at about 7.50, just checked now and it worked.
