Where is GTAV???

Watchdogs looks nowhere near as good as GTA V imo, Ubilol will make it a letdown and doubt it'll ever have mods like GTA games do.

Should eventually come to PC like the rest have.

I was looking forward to it potentially turning up on the PC (just searched here last night to see if it was announced) but I won't bother buying it now. As others have said R* haven't confirmed or denied if they're releasing a PC version and the amount of time that's elapsed since the console version made an appearance is a **** take so they can do without my money.

So there! :p

I'm hoping we will get an announcement at E3.

If they do bring GTA V to the new consoles then hopefully we will get a PC launch at the same time.

if they aren't going to release it on PC, i wish they'd just say so.
That's what has got up my nose the most, a simple message to let the PC gamers know that it is in the pipeline would have sufficed I'm not bothered if it's another year away from release.

But as it is this will be the only GTA I've not bought since the original 90s game.

Ubisoft make some very good games, no idea where Ubilol comes from. If people have issues with Uplay then fine but Ubisoft make some really good games indeed.

I'm in the same boat as the majority of you guys it seems. When it was first released I was really interested in it, but refused to buy it on a console because i would only have to buy it again on the PC. Now that it has been out for a while my interest has dropped to the point where I would wait until its in a big steam sale before getting it, and I honestly wouldn't be that fussed if it didn't come out on PC at all.

Maybe I have been spoilt by pc but the load time for just starting the game was ridiculous. I could have ate my dinner in the time it took just to load. And at times, switching between characters took the **** which broke immersion. I just hope if it comes out it will be worth the wait.

It can't have been worse than Stalker: Call of Pripyat. With the complete mod on and when my PC only had 4GB RAM. It clocked in at a whopping 5 1/2 minutes to load a game from the main menu.

Apparently V is a return to form, and then some. I still want it on the PC, but would settle for PS4!
My interest level is so low after how Max Payne 3 turned out I would struggle to even play GTA5 if it were a free humble bundle gift

I would love for GTA V to come out on the PC & the next gen's

I think they would need to add something to GTA online for it to be a must buy for me though (already got it on the 360)

It hasn't release on PC yet because it doesn't need to. It's not like their stretching towards the PC market to get that extra needed cash to make development worth while, they've already sold millions of copies and will continue to do so as they know that it's a popular product amongst both the casual and more "hardcore" gamer market. Many people on earth know what GTA is, and will buy it first against any other game in the competition just because it's so popular. They know people will go out of their way to buy the next GTA game, whether or not it be on their platform of choice.

This and.....

After GTA IV I gave up with R*. Superb looking game for 2008 on PC but the tedious missions, boring cutscenes & rubbish ingame music are terrible.

Compared to GTA VC + SA GTA IV was a really low quality game.

SA was perfect. GTA IV had decent driving, but like you said, terrible missions which bored the living daylights out of me.

I bought GTAV for PS3, played it for a couple days then literally gave it away to my brother.

It was awful. The only way to fix GTA V would be to mod the hell out of the driving, and that can only happen on PC.

If it doesn't get a PC release with some decent physics mods I don't ever want to see it again. Yes, the driving was that bad. Tied with Sleeping Dogs for crappiness.

People say that there is no place for realistic handling in GTA games - I say GTFO. Where's the fun in driving if the cars stick to the road like glue, and you can't even write your car off in a crash?

Sorry R*, you went full retard with V. I honestly don't care how good the story was (didn't play much of it). The car handling + sandbox is why I play. If that's not right, I'll play something else.

TL;DR - GTA V's vehicle handling ruins the game.

Yeah, the handling in IV was awful compared to V. Was so much fun driving cars flat out through the hills and mountains.

Ive modded the crap out of GTAIV and it plays fine in 1440p (~40fps most of the time) Handling I think is spot on. However the missions are cack so I just drive around causing mayhem for 30 minutes

Multiplayer is also very fun - Things like turf war, get a 4x4 with 3 random people people as passengers and drive around killing other gangs
