Where is GTAV???

Would love it to happen but I think it will be coming to next gen with some DLC. By then it is such an old game that im not sure they will release on PC.

I hope they just have the decency to announce that it will not release on PC so we can decide if its worth getting on either of the generations of consoles.

Yeah, the handling in IV was awful compared to V. Was so much fun driving cars flat out through the hills and mountains.

If you like the fact that driving in V takes *no effort* whatsoever, then sure.

If that's your cup of tea then you obviously don't like driving games where cars skid and you can lose control.

You obviously can't deal with pesky irritants like momentum, friction, and all that physics nonsense. They aren't much fun if you can't drive for ****, eh?

And brakes? Who wants to use brakes? You said it yourself, you just want to drive flat out and this game panders to you. It's utterly skill-less.

Jesus christ FoxEye, it's not meant to be a driving sim. I found GTA V's driving to be incredibly fun on the ps3, the low framerate was awful at times though for judging gaps to squeeze through and stuff though.

Ive played gtav at a mates and its like playing a game from the mid 90s like ridge racer or daytona usa. Bombing flat out, no brakes, no skids etc.

GtaIV is much more realistic and fun to play. Skidding into other cars, needing to use brakes, rolling over etc

So only driving sims should make any attempt towards realism? Everything else should be easy-mode? Even the slightest loss of control is bad, awful, no we don't want that?

You don't find it fun to have to control your car in what is essentially a driving sandbox? No even slightly fun if you can't immediately drive like a pro?

You want GTA driving to be .... super easy?

Let me be frank. I loved the series from 1 to SA (and the driving in IV). GTA V has easier driving than any of them. It's so easy, you have to be watching TV or AFK to actually crash in V. You can throw motorbikes round 90 degree bends at 100mph!

I mean, I literally wept as I played it. Literally. GTA died in front of my eyes.

And yes, I'm passionate about games. Sue me.

Passionate is good mate, we're all that about some things. You might want to reread your last couple of posts though as they come across as ripping into people and, IMHO, aggressive and borderline bullying. I realise that's probably not how you intended to come across, but that's how I read them and I doubt I'm alone.

As I said, passionate is good, personal isn't. :)

Preferred IV's handling tbh, as there was weighting and momentum on heavier vehicles. Upon playing V, the very first thing that hits you as Franklin steals nabs his first car is how 'slippery' the car is, as it reminded me almost of Saints Row. You do get used to it though.

I have it on the ****box and I loved the game, I think it ran smooth on there compared with the PS3, the actual graphics they got from that tired old piece of rubbish were great the only real bad point was Franklin and whoever wrote his scripts.

I can't see it coming out on PC as it has been too long without any news.

I don't want GTA V to be a driving sim, no. I enjoy the arcade feel and I have played a lot of iRacing and other racing sims so I'm pretty sure I can deal with all those things just fine. Sorry that you can't have fun.

I never said that I want to drive flat out all the time but in a game like GTA I don't want to be driving slowly breaking around corners, I want to go flying across mountains and trying to jump bikes onto trains. If the game had realistic driving physics it would be boring.

I was super hyped for GTAV, but my PS3 YLOD'd so I didn't bother buying it. Played it round my mates and loved it, but that was SO long ago now we've stopped playing it and moved onto other games instead.
I'm now at a point where I don't even know whether I'll bother buying it for PC IF it does ever come out.

I haven't played GTA5 so don't disagree or agree with what you said, but I think this video is appropriate to the mood the last few lines in your post evoked.

I can just picture you slowly putting your controller down in disgust after playing GTA5 as the opening bars of the song play and you remember all the great times you had with prior GTA games, heh.

And I don't mean that to be criticism either, there's nothing wrong with being passionate about games.

Ubisoft make some very good games, no idea where Ubilol comes from. If people have issues with Uplay then fine but Ubisoft make some really good games indeed.

You must be joking? Ubi make some of the worst buggy games.

Where do I start.
Ghost record future solider online never got fixed, save game bug never got fixed.
Fc2
Online buggy, another save game glitch that never got fixed.
Fc3 loads bugs from above plus performance issue that they said was driver.
Ac3 buggy

Mate list goes on its one reason I will not be buying watch dogs on release.

This topic's a mess, for starters never go full emo. GTA V SP was epic but the MP was a major disappointment, as expected. As for the actual release if there ever is one rumours are it'll be Sept. 19, 2014

Ghost Recon Future Soldier was utterly dire. That game was the worst excuse for a game I have ever seen. Considering it came out in 2012 the whole game - visuals and gameplay - were just abysmal.

Ghost Recon FS I have never had an issue, my game saves and I play online a lot and it is a great game to play.

FC3 plays fine for me.

AC3 never played as the series got boring.
