It entirely depends on how you define morality as to if there is an objective truth to it or not.

If you assign variables which can be measured then yes it is, if you don't then no - it isn't.

In what sense is my mind dysfunctional? My views on capital punishment are consistent with the conclusions which normal minds have been reaching for hundreds of years. It's not even a position which is so alien to our current society, as many would share my position.

It's modern societies attitude towards capital punishment which is the aberration, so perhaps it's your mind which is dysfunctional? Perhaps the loonies are in charge of the asylum, and it just so happens your mind is better suited to existing with that environment than my 'dysfunctional' mind?
