New Order has been canny.

Nice pacing, decent variety, interesting storyline, solid mechanics and good graphics. Can't see why anyone would give it less than 7/10 unless it seriously dips.

Currently at chapter 8, it's telling I've got there from the beginning in one go, can't remember the last time I've played a game, especially a shooter for 6hours or so none stop. So for me it's got something about it.

RAGE was actually pretty good, I played through RAGE on the PC and it was a good, fun shooter, just like Bullet Storm - again on the PC.

I've been looking over this one myself, unsure but if it has the same mechanics as RAGE I could be interested.

Its back down again, just kicked me out... Its been a dreadful weekend for PS4 PSN, not sure what their problems are but its been pretty slow and very un-realible for a paid for service...

Problem is, PS4 is so ingrained with PSN that it hangs and pauses for whatever reason unless you pull the network cable out if PSN is down... Or slow.

when i finally got on it was fine, it was just very hard to get on in the first place. like I say it took 15 minutes I reckon most people would quit after 2-3 minutes tbh but I persevered because it did log me in for a second then I got kicked so I kept trying after that.

There's not some moron neckbeards who think they are hackers spamming the servers or something?

don't know but Sony surely upgraded their security, etc after the fiasco that was last time and their service was down for quite a while was it not due to anon and the hackers that got all the credit cards and psn logins, etc.

I'm pretty sure their security is pretty tight now unless some uber hackers have managed to bypass it.

That won't stop DDOS attacks though which would cause these types of problems.

It's not actually hacking, just overwhelming servers with loads of fake requests so legit traffic can't get through.

How come you playing it now? Its not even on psn yet

I enjoyed RAGE as well, and this is comparable. If you had fun with that then you'll have the same experience with this. I didn't enjoy Bulletstorm mind, too frantic for my skills with a pad.

So far the most fun I've had with a shooter on the ps4. Better than cod and killzone, though KZ graphics are better.

One big graphical glitch is bullet shells seem to stick mid air, which breaks the immersion a bit.

SimplyGames are decent, you got lucky getting it so early. .

I think it looks pretty decent, first Wolfenstein game I've actually bought. I love FPS and this looks different enough from the other recent shooters.

Can't believe it's half way through May already. This year is flying by so far ! E3 soon, and then the summer hols ! I swear time goes quicker as you get older :o

Complete derail here, but did you know that the reason for this (getting older = time goes quicker) is believed to be because a week of a child life time is a large proportion of that life. Where as a week in a 70yr olds life time is a relatively small amount of time in that life. So your brain, as a child, interprets a week as a long time, but to an old person it is just a drop in the ocean so is perceived as passing much quicker. Of course, we all know time passes the same.

lol every day is a school day.. so we perceive time as speeding up when we get older, does not mean reaction times speed up as well as the older I get, the worse at fps games I tend to get against younger ones.

Anyhow, on the fence with Wolfenstein but seeing as it seems like RAGE I might be tempted.

Watch the game appear on PSN at £59.99 - so down the shops or amazon I go if I do decide once reviews are out etc..

Watchdogs is £44 on Amazon atm, I've done another flubit to see if they can drop below £40 because tbh I'm desperate for games to play but I'm not spending a lot on this game that is likely to be a bit meh.

Yeah, it's one I think I'll be waiting for the trusty Eurogamer/Edge reviews on before I decide. I don't let reviews dictate to me what I buy but I do take notice of the criticism to see if they'd bother me as well.
Should probably wait until after it's released as the offers expire after 3 days.

it's you getting slower :p

Transistor from the makers of Bastion is released tomorrow on PSN. Bastion was one of the best games in the past few years so have high hopes for this. Anybody planning on picking it up on the PS4?
