a fact? source?

Source? My racist neighbour: voting UKIP. Racist relative: Voting UKIP. Racist people I know: Voting UKIP. Of course, these people would never admit to being racist, they don't see that they are racist, but they are with comments like "I don't like Pakistani's and blacks. They ruined the country didn't they?". It's generally older people who are "stuck in their way", but there really isn't an excuse for it today.

Also, there are all the recent racism scandals in the party. They've already been cited throughout this thread, and across the internet. Then you have the statements that the party "is not racist". Could you imagine the Libs, Labour or Cons having to make that kind of announcement? It's just absurd.

The other way to look at it is this. The UK has a percentage of racist residents ufortunately, many of them will be voting. Who are they most likely to vote for? BNP & UKIP, because they represent policies that are more in line with their views. UKIP also prey on people with xenophobic fears and are winning votes that way.

This.

But they will find other ways. These kind of people always do.

Yeah, fear "them".

There is plenty of debate about it, it's generally just boring/rubbish :p.

I think a lot of people, as yourself, are unhappy with the level of unskilled migration. What I find staggering is that people think UKIP are going to change this.

I'd like to think that an overwhelming victory for a non-mainstream party in the European elections as a protest might be enough to make the LibLabCons pay attention and decide that they can't take the status quo for granted any more. Doubt it will happen though.

You can't win whoever gets in... Labour try to spend our way out of everything and the Tories end up sorting out their mates. While I don't like the LibDems at all, I can't say I'm disappointed with the fact that the coalition has watered down some of the less palatable conservative policies (and that from someone who usually votes for them).

UKIP candidate calls for rivals and their voters to be hung for treason.

You really couldn't make it up

Mr Ferguson wrote: “The Lib-Lab-Cons have conspired with a foreign power, the EU, and are all thereby guilty of treason. They have sold Britain, which is the fifth largest economy, illegally into increasing slavery inside the EU dictatorship. Those responsible should be hung by the neck until dead.”

He went on: “As likely as not, however, they will never be brought to account because our senior police, Crown Prosecution Service and judges are almost all exclusively freemasons, and Britain’s courts have been utterly corrupt for many years. They are almost all in the pocket of the EU.

But don't worry it's just the odd bad egg.

It would be a shake up for the status quo - again like yourself I just don't think it will actually do anything, except marginalise Britain further in the EU.

The LibDems have been a useful counter at times, but a spineless beast backing out and changing promises at the drop of a hat most of the time. I think they're going to do extremely badly at the next few elections.

There was an article or some stats linked in this thread somewhere, which I now can't find, which showed the number of BNP voters (amongst other far right parties) who are now voting UKIP.

Both i reckon, but worse of all they are hypocritical in that in there attempt to stamp out fascistisum they have become more fascist then anyone else apart from the Nazi party. Go figure!

I feel confident in saying that trying to prevent intolerance, racism, xenophobia, encouraging free movement of people, and generally letting people just be who they are, is not facist. The problem we liberals have is that there are a stupid number of people who cannot see past their own noses, and who a completely intolerant of differences in humans, and who are only concerned with their own wellbeing, combined with the fact that they are loud and obnoxious.

If you replaced politicians with Bankers you'd be nodding in agreement so much you head would fall off. I've seen countless people on here and in other forums saying they should hang bankers

I think you misunderstood my post, but that's ok it wasn't very clear.

I was asking if you were being ironic or just naieve, because it's not just those pesky "lefties" that resort to "systematic verbal abuse".

The reality here however being that no one has committed treason, and whilst some bankers certainly performed criminally, claiming that it is analogous to treason is silly.

I understand the sentiment though. And don't entirely disagree with you :p (Jail terms certainly).

I know, i was twisting your post because i knew what you were trying to get at

There may be a few examples but it's nothing compared to the sheer amount in the last 3 pages alone from the 'other side'

I would imagine that many BNP supporters may well vote UKIP in areas where UKIP is likely to do well (Disaffected Tory seats), Conversely, I suspect many UKIP supporters will vote BNP in areas where BNP has historically done well too! (Disaffected Labour ones!)

Shock! Horror! Tactical Voting!

ISTR that there were a number of constituencies at the last election where, had the "Nationalist" vote not been "Split" by UKIP/BNP both standing, that would have returned "Nationalist" seats in Parliament!

Perhaps the realisation is dawning that the LibLabCon/Media have been playing divide and rule for far too long and it is time to put a bit more thought into voting statagy!

Personally i do think that Gordon Brown, Ed Balls and Ed Milliband should have charges to answer regarding the handling the economy. Their mistakes where so grave it put the national security of the country in danger

I suspect the guy is a bit of a fruit loop due to the Freemason comment. That said, I don't think it's unreasonable to say that those responsible for selling your nation out ought to be punished.

I think you adopt the simplistic American view on politics of blue vs red, left vs right. Just because someone is against the extreme right doesn't make them left. Again, it is a short sighted "them and us" stance.
