they way I see it is if it's a single player game, your never really going to play it again from scratch straight after completing it and it will depreciate like hell as everyone floods the market after completing it quickly. so is it worth keeping it to replay it years later? normally i never replay so that's a no from me. with games like this unless you get it for dirt cheap at launch, it's best just waiting for a second hand copy you can punt on afterwards or completing the game within a couple of weeks then selling on before second hand prices crash.
it's why I have stayed away from all the lego sequels they will be selling on ebay for £10 in 6 months time.
wolfenstein will be £20 in 3 months time. after all it's a single player game with no replay appeal or longevity. at that point you could buy the game for £20 play it for 2 months then sell it on for £15+, meaning it cost you less than a fiver to play it.
buying at launch especially digital means paying up to 10 times that amount.
the only games worthy of a launch buy are those that your going to be playing for months on end like Gran Turismo, Fifa, BF4, GTA, etc.
Those that are use once and dispose of your better off waiting
