Yeah previously if you swapped CHD on say, Witching Hour to life regen (who would but just an example), then tried to get CHD back at a later date, you couldn't.

Now you can.

What's the fastest current method to solo level a character? I've got a level 28 Crusader that I might try 30 minutes a night on to get up to level 70. Just bounties on the highest comfortable difficulty or is there a good farming spot?

Get a friend to run you through higher level difficulty (I believe this works) or if you have an alt - find a 2000+ weapon & re-roll any with reduced level requirements till it hits about 28/30.

On my L31 I was using a 2000+ weapon & one shotting everything on a very high difficulty level & leveled up stupidly fast (along with exp gems in the helm etc).

This is my gear at the moment:

http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/stokietom-2515/hero/43381366

772k DPS unbuffed, 891k buffed.

I want to replace 'Glamor wound' with 'Unity' (Have 2 of them now!) Just need to get the gems so I can re-roll a stat to crit hit damage. :)

Any other suggestions guys?

Priority stuff from me mate:

1. New shoulders should be up your list somewhere. Aim for high Int/Vita/All Res and then either Life %, Skill %, or utility (Cooldown reduction, Resource cost reduction).
2. Helm is okay but obv decent Cold % Andariels, or some leg helm would be good.
3. Amulet is OK until you can find one with Int/CC %/CHD % and Cold %.
4. Bracers are fine. However I would note that if you have the stomach/resources for it, you can craft Reapers Wraps which can roll good stats, and replenish your resource when you pick up health globes.
5. Gloves are OK, but consider gambling for some Trifecta Magefists or Gladiator Gauntlets. Both drop with some frequency in my experience. Magefists can only come with Fire % dmg, but it's a free extra stat so if the rest of the stats are good don't be put off by that fact.
6. Belt is not too bad. Ideally in this slot you want one of the following though: Fleeting Strap (you can craft it if you found the recipe). Harrington Waistguard (best belt in the game imo). Witching Hour (good luck finding it :P). Hellcat Waistguard (good filler until you get a better one).
7. SOJ is good BUT it's the wrong skill for you, Arcane % isn't helping you out at all and may as well not be there. If you find a ring which has good stats, or a SOJ with Cold % instead of Arcane % then I would use that instead. I would not bother to reroll that ring further right now.
8. Second ring obviously you mentioned already.
9. Legs are OK, but ideally you want high int/vita/All Res and 2 sockets.
10. Wand is OK, obviously get a 130% crit gem in there instead as soon as you can.
11. Your boots are actually pretty nicely rolled. I would focus elsewhere on upgrades.
12. Winter Flurry is fine for Cold spec like yours. I haven't actually found one in my travels so well done for finding one :P
13. Consider swapping Astral Presence for Audacity for a DPS boost, you wind up firing at close up stuff quite often so the +15% should be noticeable.

Do you have any of the set recipes? Cains is popular for the bonuses it gives. Aughilds Head/Shoulders/Bracers are also a popular choice.

Finally one thing you could really benefit from, that is not easy to get by any means, is the Ring of Royal Grandeur. This drops from Act 1 bounty caches, so if not solely focused on getting this, I would run Act 1 bounty caches when you can, in groups is best, to give you a shot at getting it.

Also gotten luckier tonight with drops than I have any right to be! Here are some of the highlights. Shard of Hate dmg really sucked, but fortunately I can reroll that :)

For the TF, is this still considered a BIS item, or would a Barb prefer 2 other 1H items. I guess most would play Fire spec so one of the 1h weps would be a burning axe at least.

If not then I could roll the Str to Int and use it on another char :)

Very nice drops. I also got a Shard of Hate last night, was about to log off but did one more rift and got it. I think lightning Barbarians tend to like Odyn Son with a Shard of Hate, but thunderfury also works well. My templar is using my Thunderfury at the moment as I find the proc handy.

What I would also like is a way to reset the roll on an item so I can choose another slot to roll. I have made some questionable decisions when rerolling :/. I would be happy with the cost to stay the same.

Trying to weigh up Darklight vs Maximus for a Crusader FotH fire build. Was running around with Blessed Shield for a while but FotH w/ Heaven's Tempest does waaaay more damage over time. Darklight seems to hit faster but weaker, gets a 50% chance for a free FotH and will stack more dots from Akarat's with Fire Starter. Maximus has the chain, hits harder but slower, however can use a Hellskull for +10% damage. Also using Provoke for Wrath back, with Maximus I can use another skill like Consecration but with a Darklight I'd imagine I'd have to go back to Shield Glare w/ Zealous Glare to maintain the Wrath costs.

Not sure where to dump all my shards into. 1 handers for Darklight or just keep trying for Akkhan legs then a Cindercoat to replace Akkhan BP. Anyone have any insight?

Think Fire Barbs would opt for Sun Keeper + Burning Axe/Devastator. Would just leave it until you need it, might find another later on before you need it for your Barb.

Made a mistake yesterday when i was rejigging my setup.

Rerolled my Tasker that had perfect roll of CC of 10%, thinking more CHD would be better. :(

Rerolled about 20 times before i got CC to 9.5% back. Not sure if it worth rerolling again to get the 5% back.

It not a perfect tasker but.......

Yep I would agree with this. Currently running Sankis/Deva until I get a good roll on a Sun Keeper drop. Need to wait for a drop though as it's really not worth gambling for weapons at 15 shards.. there is simply too many different 1-handers that you need to win the lottery.

Finding it more efficient to put those shards into 5-cost slots to get better rolls there.

So I have found that since the buff has come on I recently level 70 and I have yet to have a Legendary drop from spending my bloodshards :( I am so unlucky at this game. I have my magic find at 45% does that make any difference?

Me and my brother are running T2 with WD and Crusader and we seem to be doing ok what is the jump like to T3?

T2 to T3 isn't so bad, the jump from there to T4 is pretty big though.

Also, I've been getting legendarys from Kadala so that's just bad luck at your end I think :D.

I had a rubbish night for drops last night, 3 Nagelring's and another set ring (Coral Ring or something). Also got a plan for a mojo and a source (I play DH) and a crappy Blackthorns boots.

2 more nights to round out the Marauders...

I really like Darklight at the moment, and it's easier to get higher CDR with a 1H wep I find without gimping too many stats elsewhere.

I generally run with Shield Glare + Provoke anyway for extra wrath gen, these two skills are really interchangeable with Consecration / Heavens Fury beam, just for great utility skills.

I'm trying to roll a decent Hellskull with Str/CC/CDR and Heavens Fury dmg. Not having any luck so far and I've found 4 of the buggers! This would go well with my Fate of the Fell if I ever feel like going shotgun spam.

I have a decent Cindercoat but I am trying out 6 pc Akkhans, dropping RRoG for SOJ + Unity rings instead. Seems to be working about as well for me. I really need to roll a better Akkhans Chest/Legs as neither of mine rolled with All Res so I am missing a lot of my core res stats, and a better helm as mine has almost lowest str, and lowest crit roll possible.

Think Fire Barbs would opt for Sun Keeper + Burning Axe/Devastator. Would just leave it until you need it, might find another later on before you need it for your Barb.

I chucked it on the Templar for now, will put a red gem in it probably :P

Is it worth re-rolling the armor on this to crit%?

4. Bracers are fine. However I would note that if you have the stomach/resources for it, you can craft Reapers Wraps which can roll good stats, and replenish your resource when you pick up health globes.

I crafted some reapers with these stats not sure if they're any good though. I guess I'd need to roll the life regen for crit %?

5. Gloves are OK, but consider gambling for some Trifecta Magefists or Gladiator Gauntlets. Both drop with some frequency in my experience. Magefists can only come with Fire % dmg, but it's a free extra stat so if the rest of the stats are good don't be put off by that fact.

I will start spending some shards then. :D

I have the recipe for fleeting strap, just need to farm the last legendary for it.

I thought arcane % is helping as I use arcane orb with frozen orb rune?

8. Second ring obviously you mentioned already.

9. Legs are OK, but ideally you want high int/vita/All Res and 2 sockets.

Yeah I'm still waiting for a good leg drop, can't seem to get anything though. :(

10. Wand is OK, obviously get a 130% crit gem in there instead as soon as you can.

Noted!

Done.

I have the full Aughilds set but they're all only level 42 but pretty bad stats, confused with this one.

Your posts are always helpful. Cheers :D

NP Tom :)

1. I wouldn't use that Andariels necessarily, you would want that came with Cold % natively, or the rest of the stats were good (Int, Crit %, Arcane Orb % etc).

2. I would not use that Amulet personally, you need 3/4 good rolls to make it worthwhile, that one has only 2 good rolls. You definitely want Crit %, CHD % and Int as a minimum.

3. Those Reapers are no use at all imo. You want ones with the exact same stats as your current bracers really. Cold %, Int, Vita, Crit %. If you accidentally craft the same but with Fire %, Lightning % you could reroll the Element, or keep them as off spec ones :)

4. The spell may be called Arcane Orb but the rune is Cold dmg (it should show you that on the spell). Therefore only Cold % helps your Arcane Orb Frozen Orb spells. It's still a decent SOJ though but only for Arcane spec, keep it in case you want to try arcane sometime. Keep on using it until you find better anyway as the other stats are still good.

5. You may have the old set, It dropped again for me at 70 so you want to keep an eye out for it. They definitely can roll lvl 70 stats :)

That's what I'm looking to do for my Lightning Barb, I already have a Thunderfury, looking for a Shard of Hate to pair with it but I just cannot get it to drop. This game trolled me hard yesterday. Grinded for about 8 hours yesterday on T3, got loads of legendaries and about 8 swords but none of them were decent at all.. 3 Exarians -_-

My wish list before the buff ends:

Shard of Hate (Barb)
Thundergod's Vigor (Barb)
Mask of Jeram (WD)

I'm not looking for fancy stuff like set items, just 2 out of those 3 things would keep me happy. RNG gods please =(

Ah ok makes sense.

It seems like I've got quite a few useless legendaries then. :(

Really not sure what I should be doing next....? Do I keep crafting reapers?

What stats should I be looking for on a ring to replace SoJ?

Cheers

Darklight over Maximus every day of the week, you will get a hell of a lot more procs on the fire rune for AC with Darklight, not to mention you regen wrath faster than you can spend it.

Also i assume your using 6 piece Akkhans bonus, Fervour passive which gives a regen bonus iirc, take the Law that gives passive AS but the active extra regen, when you pop AC you will find that you regen Wrath faster than you can spend it, couple this with Wrathful passive and you also maintain a nice steady stream of hp regen too.

Right now unless you have a FoTF, Darklight is the next best thing, some can argue Darklight is the best weapon for Crusaders right now and its a valid point. a lot depends on how you want to play also, best thing about Darklight is you can use it with Holy, Lightning or Fire, unlike Maximus your kinda pigeonholed into fire with it.

FoTF shotgun is probably one of the top builds, but Darklight builds arent far behind, dont be tricked by big numbers on the screen, smaller numbers but more frequently often add up to more dps overall.

Basically right now, with Indestructable, Fervour, Wrathful, Finery (this one can change to suit your tastes) with a Darklight and a decent shield (i use Eberlo Chari with mine) and some fire gear, pop AC and Law i can basically spam FoTH - Fire rune endlessly, add in Reapers Wrap on wrist and its insane, the dot proc from the Fire AC is crazy dps, anything getting close to me gets torched and i can range stuff down horrendously fast, not to mention im healing at the same time and if i do die then indestructable gets me out of jail free and makes me immune long enough to finish off whatever it was i was killing.

There is simply no competition right now for a decent fire build with 6 piece Akkhans, enough CDR and a Darklight imho. Except as i say Shotgun build

Also if you have a Gryfs and a Jeka, fire based Blessed Shield is a decent enough build, i can solo t4 easily with mine without even really using AC, just the shield spam, with about 60% Fire dmg

Most you get are useless, just gotta find the gems and keepers :)

Crafting Reapers Wraps is something you should do but not as highest priority imo, you have other stuff to work on.

I would run some rifts, highest torment where you can get to and kill the rift boss efficiently (sub 10 mins per run is ideal). Use Rift it Forward community to get people in at the Rift Boss to open your next one for free.

Gamble on Shoulders followed by Gloves in that order as those are your weakest slots, meanwhile you may find some upgrades.

Don't be tempted to spend all of your materials as soon as you get them, especially if you are getting upgrades frequently. Focusing on gem upgrades is a good idea as they will be useful from one item to the next.
