*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Graphics for wolfenstein are function over anything else , but it can look pretty good places. it's certainly not one of the better looking ps4 games, but it sure is a lot of fun...

more fun then killzone.

also update 1.7 killed my ds4 rumble. I hadn't noticed until last night, when I thought, hey no vibrations that's odd... seems if I turn the ds4 off, and on again it makes it work.

Yeah I've been spoilt by the likes of Killzone Shadow Full for eye candy so that's my kind of standard, but that's not saying there are no nice scenes and lighting effects I'm very happy with the game as a whole.

People experiencing glitches did you download the huge patch first before playing? I waited a whole three hours before I touched the game solely because a patch that size would be important and after the installation of the update I had no issues whatsoever.

Playing Wolfenstein @ 1440P @ medium preset. Graphics are pretty impressive tbh. The game just keeps getting better the further you get. Found the old Wolfenstein game Easter Egg earlier, even that was more fun than a lot of recent games :p

Is there a PS4 cheat to activate the settings menu to up the res to 1440p?

I was wondering if anyone has set up their PS4 to their computer monitor using a converter? I am looking to get one but cant afford to fork out for a new TV for it. But I have a decent monitor.

I used a ps4 connected to a hdmi 1080 pc monitor. used the ds4 audio jack for sound, worked fine, then I split with the gf, issue solved. have exclusive use of the telly every evening..

anyhow, no ps4 works fine on a pc monitor .

the ds4 audio jack is really horrible for sound quality, it's limited by the bluetooth controller which is most likely low cost, a decent apt x bluetooth controller costs like £45 on it's own.

I got an official one I don't use but I feel I need to keep it as it was a gift. Played a good chunk of Transistor last night, really enjoyed it. Very atmospheric game that really put me in the 'zone' which is what I describe when I'm really into a game and not aware of my surroundings.
Rare for games to be like that for me now.

Transistor's good for sure :) Not sure if it matches Bastion yet - the combat hasn't clicked for me yet - but very good either way. It looks and sounds lush!

Transistor is sounding really good. Haven't been able to get on the PS4 since last Friday but should have some free time tonight so reckon i'll pick that up and give it a blast

I don't play online much but I really wonder why they choose to do this when people are back from work, rather than do it in the morning.

It's so it doesn't affect their other markets like Japan or the US. We're not important enough to worry about :(
