LG G3 **discussion**

Hehe, I tried PAC on my S3 a while back and it felt too 'heavy' in use and got sluggish over a few days use. Tried it once at the start of this year on the Find 5 iirc - and I weirdly had the same experience. It just had too much stuff going on that I personally didn't require, hence Omnirom being my main driver for quite a while.

.

hmm, might be the rom then! I'll install omni tonight and see if it's any better!

Unless it has a way to get rid of the heat - it will just throttle in a phone :p

It should have pretty good power consumption tbh - smaller process than 801 (28nm vs. 20nm IIRC), so some of the increase should be offset by this. I would be surprised if they did not include other power optimisations also.

size looks impressive! especially vs z2

I like the curved back on this.. the Z2 was flat and had sharp edges, it didnt feel that nice. I may just get this instead.
Hope its waterproof and priced right. The G2 was only £399 on launch.

didnt see this reply
the curved back (or lack there of) on the z2 looks nice but comfort was a concern for me too

Been looking at a Nexus 5 today but since finding out its not available on EE I found the G2 was the closest alternative which is available. However, I stumbled across the G3 promo video and I'll definitely be waiting before upgrading; this phone looks sweet! :)

Fail on the leaked dimensions - it's 146mm tall (about the same as the Z2)

And no SD Slot? Booooooo if true.

Juicy info here - http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_g3_full_specs_leak_ahead_of_announcement-news-8580.php

No SD slot would be a shocker. It is the Korean version though so maybe the international one will have it.

Looks very good though indeed!
