Don't change to fire until you get some fire items, just try for magefists, andariels, bracers with fire, amulet with fire, burning axe of skankis, SoJ with fire. Can get over 100% but obviously it can take a long time to achieve that.
Fire is pretty strong for most classes i think atm? i know Wiz, Crusader and Barb are all strong t6 viable with fire builds. Dont know about WD, i would guess Cold / Physical for them?, not sure on Monk / DH either, what it does highlight though is the over abundance of +fire% dmg gear thats available, dont think any other element gets close to the amount of +fire you can stack does it?
Tom as you climb higher torments you need to factor in +elemental dmg and +elite dmg to your builds to have any chance of surviving, unfortunately the game becomes a DPS race, kill the mob before it kills you lol
Fire only really has one more piece available than some other elements like Cold and Lightning (discounting anything class specific like an Won Khim Lau) so it's not really an abundance of fire gear, it's just that Cindercoat and Magefist are amazing items and completely blow any other comparative item from another element out the water.
True in some respect, but you will find a few of the elements really lack options, like Holy for instance, how many +holy 2h have you seen? i know of a couple of 1h, same with cold, any +cold 2h?
Some of the elements are woefully under itemised i feel personally, unfortunately blizz has said they dont intend on making different element versions of Cindercoat etc.
I do wish they would though, atleast make other elements unique on say shoulders, boots, legs etc, like a Leg version of cindercoat but poison, or a should version of frostburn etc.
So you want to go fire wiz but you want to use arcane spells lol?
Also all of those spells aren't arcane.
Which ones are fire?
Archon uses fire damage I think.
Familiar, Archon and Magic Missile are using fire runes.
Archon is arcane damage
