*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Transistor is a lot of fun and the way it looks and music/feel of it is damn good. I did love Bastion though so i shouldn't be surprised.

Was home at lunch time after Squash game and bought this. Hopefully I can play it despite the network downtime tonight. If I can get in from work quick enough and sign it it'll be fine as it usually lets you stay signed in.

Haven't downloaded it yet but PS4 has been pretty good with Fibre (conpared to slow PS3 speeds) so shouldn't take long.

Never played Metro so will buy them both.

As my quest for a vertical stand continues i phone my local game to see when they may have more in to be told he hasn't seem them in ages and they aren't popular, so I should try a bigger store in Birmingham!

Just seen this, Metro Redux coming this summer:

http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2014/05/22/metro-redux-coming-ps4-two-great-shooters-1080p-60fps/

Metro 2033 and Last Light remastered. I have the first one on Steam but I've never got round to playing it.

If they've got those two games running at 1080p 60fps on PS4 with all the eye candy that the PC versions had, then this is some job they've done. As those two games were, well metro 2033 at the least swines to get running on PC with all the extras and maintain 60fps.

i'll get metro last light, that is one game I got for free on PS+ for PS3 but the screen tear was horrific with it.

Watchdogs was announced as being 1080p at 60fps in blogs, and look how that turned out. I'd wait for the official confirmation.

Little different though, this is the dev saying it.

Beynon said the console versions are expected to run at 60 frames per second. The PS4 version will run at 1080p resolution, with the Xbox One running at 900p.

So I wake up to an email from GAME saying they have vertical stands in stock, I promptly place my order at 7am this morning, phew, get to work and check on the GAME site out of curiosity and they are out of stock again.

Glad I didn't wait.

I've not played either Metro game so I'll most likely pick up the double pack. Will give me another game to play over the summer games drought along with TLOU.

are people really that desperate for vertical stands?

why don't they just glue a couple of wedges to some book ends for a DIY job?

the wedges would be at the bottom to help with airflow on the the bottom of the ps4

Well, I really don't want to do a botch job with my £350 console. And for £15 with an official stand, it's a no brainer.

Just wish I could share it with someone to split the cost. :p

Personally if I wanted a vertical stand it's what I would have done. Would look a lot better imo and also unique, unlike a generic stand.

Like when it came to buying a headphone stand some guys on here have spent like £70 on a stand, I use a stainless steel mug tree I got from asda for £6ish, plus it holds up to 4 headphones unlike some £70 stands which only hold 1 headphone.

Innovation at it's finest.
