Cycling London to Shanghai - Part 2 Asia

Another enjoyable read. It looks like a really interesting place. I don't have enough adventurer in me to ever consider somewhere like Uzbekistan. Certainly would be intresting to tread in the footsteps of Gengis Khan though.

Honestly it is a fascinating place, I really like it, although visiting a bit earlier in the year would be better for the weather (It's nearly 40c today).

There are a few UK companies doing all inclusive 12 day package tours for just over a grand including flights. Honestly it doesn't feel at all like much of an adventurous destination!

I never usually read people's blogs but I'm really enjoying reading yours

It sounds like your having an amazing adventure and battling through despite some bad times , your attitude and the way you have persevered is astounding, I tend to do around 30 miles on my bike in the lakes without much kit and I know how hard that can be on a nice day ,even when fighting fit

Hats off to ya!

Top work as always. Hopefully the last of your illness for a while. Another great blog.

I hope so too! Thanks :)

Glad you enjoyed reading it. My writing has been improving a lot by staying committed, it's really nice to know people are enjoying it!

Another couple of fantastic updates - glad to see your ok after the run in with police/bandits.

Cheers! Yeah all seemed to work out in the end but was pretty hairy for a bit.

Just read your post, glad you guys got out safe.

And I love dumplings too.

I can't wait for the dumplings in China. Steamed, Boiled, Fried mmmmmmmmmmm.

Another great read, thank you. Glad you have made through in one piece. Congratulations on reaching 10,000km. You are right that it seems crazy to almost be in China already. Good luck with making it through in time, I am sure it will provide plenty more epic scenery.
