Best cpu block

Koolance CPU-380i.

You can search for CPU block shootout in google to read some review, because apparently different blocks perform differently in various sockets...

E.g. Koolance CPU-380i is the best in 2011 and EK Supremacy is the best in 1055

The Koolance 380i is the best but the EK Sumpremacy is a fractional second (was beaten by <1 degree in tests). So get whichever you think looks best.

Remember both blocks need to be installed at 90 degrees to get the best performance (one hole above the other not side by side).

Been using Watercooler Heatkiller for my x79 as my x58 used the same, but a improved design.

Can't fault the temps my 4820k:4.6 1.344Vc idle's no more than 2'c above Ambient room temp.

Is this empirical or do you have a comparison for this?
I'm on my phone, so I can't link it, but the likes of Bundy and Martin both mention this I think. It's do to with the orientation of flow channels inside the block in relation to the core under the heat spreader. It makes a measureable difference of a couple of degrees if i remember right.

Thanks for the info but I can't see anything in reference to inlet/outlet orientation other than running them parallel to ram or did I miss something in that comparison?
