*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Maybe they need to add the annual release to the list.

they do

the first annual PS4 game should be a big one as well.

people were touting it as being metal gear solid even though it's a prologue it's still a £20-£25 game rather than the £5-10 ones we have been getting on the ps4 so far.

i think we will need to wait another 12 months (18 months after launch) before we start seeing big games regularly.

I'd be happy with Knack too, I don't it'll be Killzone as that is still selling well.

they have messed that up twice on the store meaning a shedload people got it for free or 85p.

that's why it's been still selling well, a lot of those sales have been at zero cost to the buyer or minimal costs.

i mean offer a game for free on the store and millions will buy it simply because it's free even if they never ever play it or intended to do so. so it will "sell" well

therefore from a financial sense it would be better to make killzone free as then the lucky people who got it for free/85p basically just got early access to it.

I thought the £0.94 Killzone mistake lasted merely hours?

lasted about 12 hours and viewed by thousands on HUKD and it was 85p, I got it the night before and it was removed at sometime between 7-9am iirc the following day.

there was another glitch after that where people got it for free simply by using the pc store and that was advertised on the net somewhere too.

so 2 glitches at completely separate times for quite a number of hours. basically a shedload of people picked it up.

I enjoyed both Pixel Junk Shooters but obviously already have them so that's not much good. Can't stand Basketball either.

Either way though - I've found PSN to be much better on PS4 than on PS3 regarding playing with friends and partying up so to me that's almost been worth the £18-£25 a year sub. So even just 4-5decent games a year and I'm happy.

I only like about 20-30% of them at the most but it's still worth it for that.
