Frostburns only go up to 15% unlike magefists that go up to 20%. And you have to give up 1 stat (usually att speed or CDR) on frostburns because they can only have 4 primary stats unlike magefists that can have 5.

True but you would only use Frostburns as a Cold Dot spec mage tbh, and losing Attack Speed from a dot spec is not the end of the world.

However with that said you need to wear 5 pieces of Jade Harvester with a RRoG to get the set bonus that makes the spec so insane, so you wouldnt be wearing them anyhow as you would forgo wearing a helm for a Quetzl
 
Do any of you guys get slowdowns/choppy FPS when in the middle of big fights?

I don't have the best PC but sometimes my FPS drops as low as the 20's and just starts to feel like a slideshow.

I doubt its your pc, I think it may just be the game engine not being very efficient.

Totally agree and if anyone says "just get a SSD" it will fix it.

I did and it made absolutely no difference. I think it a ingame bug regardless of hardware on certain setups. For me, there a judder and slowdown but fps does not drop. I had showfps on and it was a constant 60 despite the "judder". I have v_synch on btw.
 
Fine most of the time, no matter what is on screen - then other times it'll run like crap for a few seconds with a lot going on.

Mainly seems to be an issue on that bridge in Act3 though. Rarely see it away from there.

Its server related IMO, I have a i7 4770, 32GB RAM and its installed on an SSD, 120MB BB and it still lags in big battles.

I don't mind it too much, it may happen once an hour compared to the recent lag that was constantly there, thankfully thats fixed now.

Edit: 7950 GPU as well.

Yeah i have had 3 in total now and scraped them as they were not as good as my current one. More than happy to give it to anyone that runs rather than waste as a forgotten soul.

If you have 1.2 mill dps you should be good to go at t5 i would imagine?

This was actually my second one, the first was slightly worse although not much in it. Shame you can't trade them or I'd have kept it - but it was useless for me at that point. They'd have dropped - not spent any shards on weapons due to the cost.

Tried T5 earlier, could kill stuff but it wasn't too quick to do - although it wasn't horrible if I hit the Garg + Voodoo combo (1.7m dps when he's active!)
Problem was staying alive - properly squishy. Managed to complete all the act 1 bounties including killing the Butcher, although he did kill me twice before I managed. Did realise whilst doing so I was using a useless passive though which has now been sorted! :D
 
Cleared a Torment 6 rift in 3mins 45secs earlier, was a Graveyard one with loads of mobs in! :)

My personal best so far I think. I like to start my phone timer to see how quickly I can complete them.

Still no Akkhans chest from gambling since I got that Hellskull the other day. I am starting to despair :(
 
I played this game loads for first few weeks since expansion came out. I got a few characters to 70, got thunderfury etc. Moved from Barb to Monk and enjoyed both.

Yet for some reason Ive just lost interest and not turned it on in 2 weeks. Weird. :(

Massive amount of DPS. It's spread out DPS between him, sentries and pets, so nothing spikes particularly hard but the rate the build hits for really makes up for that.

Got this last night for my Barb, first one to drop for me :D

I only need one more part to get the six part Maruader's set anyway,so if that drops I will have a muck around with bits.

My DPS including fire seems similar ATM using the two sets(or higher with my other set at around 1.85 million DPS),so I think I might need to look at toughness,which is where your brother's build is far better than mine!
 
Always looking for more runners in my clan :p, on that note is their a community page/chat for people not in the ocuk clan?
