*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Yes, I had the same issue although not as bad as the video you posted, it was still very noticable.

I placed four rubber feet underneath the console and havent heard it since.

Figured I'd just update this. Didn't want to stick rubber feet on it, in case it didn't sort it.

Got a 2mm thick version of that rubber mat. Cut 4 squares out of it, push them into the corners, so they are essentially feet. Completely silent now, no buzz noise.

I'll get some proper stick on feet now.

I guess the shelf wasn't level or maybe the three feet. But it's sorted now :).

Going to tackle some PS3 backlog, not wasting time on Watch Dogs. I'm not able to spend hours and hours playing games anymore so I'm not wasting my time on mediocrity.

Is there any official line on media playback? All I've seen is some comment that Sony may think about updating software at some point to allow playback.

I would want to play directly from the internal hard drive not just USB...

No, none. I wouldn't count on it appearing any time soon, they're evidently focused on refining and improving the features it has rather than adding huge new chunks of functionality.

That sort of thing is abused by pirates and Sony are invested in movies and TV shows so it's no longer in their interest to really support them.

They may do though, nobody knows.

Its like asking us if all games in 4 years time will be 1080p and 60fps.

Nobody knows apart from Sony

I was almost ready to buy a PS4 until I realised I can't do all the stuff with MP4 video. So handy for storing all the films the kids love to watch again and again!

Exactly I just converted all their films and whacked them on the ps3. Much easier than them messing with discs

Real backwards step in my eyes

Buy Zen Pinball tables either on PS3 or the Sony Web Store for PS3 and then import from PS4 to get them across PS3, Vita and Ps4.

Silly system but thats how its done, and its worked for me.. Excellent games BTW - add me on PSN if you want friends to compare scores to -

PSN Astondbr9

Zen Pinball is a free download, but you then either download the tables within Zen pinball 2 and unlock by purchasing an unlock code.

Or just purchase Stars Wars pinball hero's within for PS3 via the web store and download to both PS3 and PS4 using the import tool for PS4 and you can use import within zen pinball for Vita as well.

i admit, its the most confusing system for purchasing a game i've ever seen.. Essentially zen pinball 2 is free to play, but the tables can all be tried via trial and you then purchase an unlock code.

nothing stopping you downloading every single table for PS3 zen pinball, but if you want to play the tables past 5 or so minutes you need to purchase a code.

But for PS4 if you buy the tables via Ps4 store on your Ps4, they don't work for Ps3 etc.. But you buy the tables either by PS vita store, Ps3 store or webstore for Ps3 you can import to Ps4 and PS vita or even Ps3 if you purchase on a Ps vita instead.

So basically - do not buy the tables directly for PS4 or via the Ps4 store on your Ps4.

Gave Watch Dogs one final hurrah. Got lost in it, about 3 hours in and I realised I should not only keep it but consider the season pass as well.
