First Post please don't laugh

16bg is so I get a matched pair as such.

Plus I am looking at maybe starting streaming via twitch etc? So the extra memory would be really useful in that area I believe?

I appreciate the new processors are due soon, its just for a idea what the wider community thinks now and it will be changed as to acomodate the new ones then (Pref a k so i can have a go at OCing)

If I let you know I am also thinking bout getting one of the Kracken W/C graphics cards next year at some point to replace the 660, that should give you a idea were I am going?

Just thinking of the RAM limit on Home7. I prob don't use a lot of the features but I don't want to be limited to 16gb of ram at the most if that makes sense

Happy for that to be changed if its not worht it, drop to pro etc but for the sake of £30 or so?

The DEMCiflex has been out of stock for ages now, not sure if OcUK are going to stock it again. You can get it direct from the USA from the maker for roughly the same cost as the retail on OcUK although it will take a few weeks.

Why not?
your list has less than 16Gb
16 is a lot, unless you do 3d art etr you'll not need it.

you'll have to replace all your RAM to go up past 16 anyway if you buy an 8Gb kit.

Ultimate gives you:
BitLocker (encrypts data on internal and external drives); DirectAccess (connectivity to a corporate network without VPN); AppLocker (prevents unauthorized software from running); and BranchCache (speeds up the accessing of large remote files at branch offices).
Are you really gonna use that for the 30?
even then I'd argue to get home and have the option of the 'anytime upgrade' if you need more ram, As a few years you might want windows 9 and the 50-60 you saved will be there to buy that

So with DC its only another £20 or so?

Red Black build's do look good

I've not specced Graphics card cause I have a GTX660 and I'm going to upgrade it in a year or so's time

Fair point, few things there I wasn't aware of.

I thought I could just do a stright + 8Gb kit of ram to the build for 16GB in the furture?

Though a matched pair of 8gb sticks is safer i guess?

I would stick with Windows 8.1. There is no point paying an extra £30 for Windows 7 Pro. You can customise it to make it more like Win7.

The Gigabyte board currently ships with a free corsair headset whilst stock lasts.

The 450D case is not in stock, although it shows as overdue.

You can fit another 2 x 4GB sticks to make it up to 16GB, although there is no guarantee it will work. You could have issues with blue screens etc, or you might not. If you can fit 16GB into your budget from the off then there is no harm going for it.

think Lee is corrent, the H100i doesn't fit in the 300R without some clearence issues so think the H105 will be the same issue.

H80i should be fine for your needs. And it's black.
