*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

I noticed my PS4 had updated to 1.71, pleased it addressed the upload bug :)

Well I assume it has as most people I've read about have said they've not had the problem yet xD

Also this popped up saying we now have 16 player party chat? Not sure how true it is as this is the only place I've seen it.

edit: I've just created a party and at the top it says 1/8 so yeah...
edit2: They've updated their article to say it's still only 8

Yeah killzone - impressive looking, but boring game. However Resogun and Tomb Raider, yeah good games IMO.

Trine 2 on PS+ this month as well.. Good times..

Just don't know what to do with my PS3.....have 2 PSN (US+UK) both with almost two years of PS+....i guess will ditch one.

I still have a PS3 kicking about, but it was used for PS+ backlog and I have been playing GT6 on it.. Still has a few months of life for me at the moment..

So have I got a duff controller or does everyone else's run out of battery relatively quickly? Certainly compared to the PS3 controller.

Is there any way of switching off the controller while leaving the console on e.g. if you wanted a prolonged pause in the middle of a game?

Battery is poor on them all.

Hold in the PS menu button and click adjust devices to turn it off. Also read that you can hold in the ps menu button for 10 secs and it turns off but I haven't tried it.

When it warns that it is low, it still has a few hours of juice I found. Don't recharge until it's dead. Mine last a full day gaming at least, I'm sure they have improved with charging regularly.

Go into settings and set the controller auto switch off time as low as possible and change the controller light setting to "dim".
