yup... that's what I thought too

I figured it down to her seeing the absurdity of everytime she gets close to someone they cop it. Not sure she really cares if the hound gets gold or not now. She could have easily killed him last week if she still hated him that much.

This was kind of a last straw for me. I'm struggling to get invested in the show when I hang to to one or two possible story arcs that interest me then that person dies.
Then they have long, boring scenes with boring characters I have no interest in.

His plot was one of the only things I enjoyed in Season 4 so I feel like watching it was a waste of my time now.

It was never one of my fave shows - not by a long way but I could have really enjoyed it if people more interesting to me didn't die, or had more time in it in general.
Shame really

:(:(:( Oberyn :(:(:(

Devastated :'(

The show (books?) does seem to be overly sick/graphic just for the sake of it which is slightly disappointing.

omg that ending...

Can we have a blade runner/28 days later/28 weeks later/GoT eye gouge youtube mashup? :p

Any I've missed?

I'm sure Spartacus had one or two eye gouges. Ashur on his 'friend', I seem to remember.

I don't think Game of Thrones is particularly graphic in general. Enough to remind you of the cruelty of its world; not so much that it feels gratuitous.

Spartacus has a guys face getting peeled off and worn on hooks....

Agreed, I think it was mainly the sound and the target that creates the shock tbh. Fab Episode

Yeah, I think a lot of you don't realise how horrendous the medieval times were. When I was a kid running around King's Landing I'd always hear of a people getting their heads squeezed apart in local pub fights, all to win some gold from the King.

Also, pretty sure the Arya scene was made up for the show.

Also Sansa grew some titties (albeit still small), has she just turned 18 or something so the producers no longer feel like pedos when asking her to look more hot?

Sansa is trying to attract/influence Littlefinger by a) being sexier and b) appearing more like her mother.

I could tell something was up during the fight. He was being too cocky and as soon as the Mountain was down and he started shouting his mouth off I guessed what was going to happen. Wasn't quite expecting the brutal nature of it though.

Theon story is really boring me but everything else is pretty good.

I cant see Tyrion dying but the only way out would be if Jaime smuggles him out or the truth comes out that he was innocent. If he does die i will be really gutted.

He's on her list remember.
Based on what happened to Kal Drogo's infected scratch I doubt the Hound will be around for much longer!

And there's also been a trend of people she wants to kill dying via other means (e.g. Joffrey, The Mountain). Sort of a similar vein to her never really reaching her family members. I put money on The Hound not making it to the end of the season...

I don't think this is a spoiler (I have NOT read the books), but:

Leaked Season 5 casting lists suggests that the Martell family will play a big role next season, including Oberyn's daughters, his brother, his nephew etc. So it is most probably NOT an end to the Martell story arc...

I had trouble taking the last fight seriously, it felt like at any time he was going to say: Hello, my name is Oberyn Martell, you killed my fath... sister, prepare to die!
