Yeah and for that reason, I think a dripper wouldn't be for me.

Having a look around though and the Fogger V4 looks good though! :D

I've got the shinyitus thing starting again, I've been good for ages and not bought anything new, now all of a sudden I think i need everything.... :o

Try the fogger, you won't be disappointed. With the airflow open combined with lung hits, you can really get some awesome amounts of vapour! It's not as good (in my opinion) as a KFL for flavour though.

Reading the past few pages it looks like there is a lot of love for the Vamo V5. I'm a social smoker, in that I'll drink a bottle of wine and then thrash a packet of cigs in a few hours, so I'm looking for a decent e-cig to combat the morning after lungs.

Looking at that vamo it's actually rather large. Anything smaller that would fit in pocket?
The vamo can be a beast in its 'big mode' (18650 Battery) Its actually what i use at home with my Kayfuns most of the time due to the battery lasting ages, but I wouldn't take it on a night out! ;)

But its actually not too bad if you use it in 18350 (small battery) mode.

However, sounds like an Ego/Evod style kit like the above would be a better starter for you as your not a 'full time smoker' . :)

Can anyone please recommend me a good e-cig that is the same size as a normal cigarette?

I am only a social smoker, so it doesn't have to have a huge battery life. 5 or so hours is fine.

New to this vaping stuff, but I am a long term smoker of 25+ yrs. At the moment I smoke roll ups and have cut down to about 5/6 a day (which is good), but I am struggling to quit completely. I want to start vaping to help me cross that bridge to giving up full time, but I have a few concerns (I have tried reading through this thread, but at 400 pages +, it would likely be at a 1000 pages by the time I have caught up), so here goes:

1: How much safer is it than normal stinkies?
2: What is an ideal kit for me to start with as I am confused with all the relative jargon that is being used.
3: There were some reports of diethylene glycol being found in some tested cartridges, so on the assumption that vaping is not yet regulated, how do I know what I am vaping?

Thanks in advance for your help!! :)

1: We know they are much safer than smoking. The 3 main ingredients, propylene glycol, glycerine, and nicotine are safe at the levels and temperature we use them at. Most of the reports saying there are problems were heating the coil (and so juice) to a temperature we never would (would taste horrible) There is less known about the flavourings, these are food safe but have never been tested as we use them to be inhaled.

2. I've not use any of the newer 'starter' devices so hope someone else will suggest some of the good new stuff. I'm sure it will be some kind of ego style battery and a clero.

3. This isn't really a wide spread issue. If you buy from one of the bigger UK sites you'll be safe.

Thanks for the reply. Would this be a suitable starter kit then: http://www.vapeland.co.uk/vision-v3-ego-blue-kit---900mah-381-p.asp

Also is this site ok to buy liquid from then?

Hey all

I'm a part time cigar smoker, not sure I can say the name but they are small light cigars.

I was wondering if there is any good vapours like them?

Sorry if the description isn't very good.

Thanks

teejay73, mypack is a good company have bought a few things from them, i would go with the Evod kit, as i find bottom coiled atties work best, then if you decide to move on to protanks the coil thingys are the same, i went from a few cheap kits to evods and still use them, but beware thay are policarb tanks so some flavors will crack them, witch is why i would recomend geting a mini protank, or protank 2, but not the dual coil ones as their a pain to re build if you choose that option.

Yes the vamo is massive when used with an 18650 and still a fair size with an 18350 in. I use the vamo with 18650 for home use only and use a nemi in 18350 mode for on my travels.

As you can see thats a fair size difference.

Better starter kit. If you don't mind waiting a few weeks, get the kit from fasttech. The juice from there is ok.

Got this kit from that site last week, been getting on well with it. Not a fan of the strawberry or spearmint juice from there but the banana is pretty good.

On a side note. I've changed the coil in both of mind (girlfriend and I are trying them) and definitely noticed the difference in flavour with a new coil but trying to work out how long I should actually use one for.

Is it just, if it starts to taste a bit crap you change the coil?
