BMW and M Power Owners

taking my E90 into dealer tomorrow for break fluid change, also getting them to have a look at the headlight washers as they dont retract after being used, but the gentleman on the phone said he's not sure if they would be covered by warranty as its mechanical????

Any one had any experience of this symptom

Surely mechanical issues are what the warranty is for? I understand trim and bodywork being excluded, but the engine is mechanical, and that's covered.

Eh? Something like that really should be under warranty!

Hoping you guys may be able to cut through the jargon I've come up against in trying to find out exactly what I need to code my new car. It's an F20 116i, and while I can find quite clearly exactly what was needed on the old 1 series, I can't find anything that confirms exactly what I would need on the new one? Guessing I need a cable of some sort and then the software to be able to read and write to it?

Thanks, but I've been looking on there and I'm none the wiser :( Seems every time the question is asked it seems to get muddled up with the E series cars.

My friend is currently at Kaunertaler Gletscherstraße (looks amazing!) writing about this

Jealous!

Interesting day as I sent emails to the dealers I'd be speaking to about new cars last night saying that I'd decided to go for the ex-demo one and thanking them for their help. Got emails and calls from both that they would try to get to nearer to the price on the one I'd decided to go for. Ended up staying with the ex demo as they got close but not enough, but it's nice to have had dealers who actually worked to try to sell me a car.

Nope, I agree and Think an M3 in Yas Marina Blue will be next on my list once I'm done with M235i...

I'm jealous of your current and future cars :)

The rear of the M4 (or 4 series in general) just doesn't look right to me. Perhaps I need to go to SpecSavers because I love the F21.

Always been the case in my opinion.

Edit: Brain fart!! I thought you said the opposite - are you mad?!

In the past I'd agree the coupe looked better but in this case the m3 looks more muscular in my opinion, especially, in the Yas Marina blue.
