*For all you Vapers out there*
I have recently started Vaping, and have wondered about a few things smoking related, so would like to ask those that Vape and have quit smoking some questions. I know there is a Vaping thread, though want to know peoples opinions in a way that allows us to view certain benefits to quitting smoking and Vaping.
1: How long did you smoke for, and when did you start?
Myself, I started smoking when I was 11 and upto last Friday have been smoking for 29yrs.
2: How many did you smoke a day?
I have smoked 20 a day for about 24 yrs and then lowered that to about 6-10 a day
3: Noticeable health benefits you have personally noticed, since vaping/smoking cessation?
I have not been Vaping that long, though I can say I smell a lot cleaner, and already I have started to cough up a lot of bad stuff from my Lung's and was quite astonished at just how much is there
4: How long you have been smoke free?
I have been smoke free for just a few day's, 4 and a half so far.
5: Your concerns going fwd with Vaping (potential health risks and government legislation)
I have a few concerns that once long term studies are completed, that there will be new health risk's associated with Vaping, these concerns are unfounded as of yet, and I have read some pro E-cig articles that suggest there is likely to be very few long term health issues, if any. I don't know what the current future holds for Vaping when it becomes regulated, though have heard that it will be classed as medicinal, and will therefore potentially need a prescription from a doctor to access it.
What are your thoughts? Would be good to see other opinions and any other points I have missed debated. I feel overall that there are massive health benefits to Vaping, and we could see sales on Tobacco products decline a lot, if Vaping is regulated in the right way.
