Been on my Kangertech Evod today and it has been great. I had 2 cigs this morning before the kit arrived and ain't touched another all day!! This is great, I don't think at one point that I have craved a stinkie since. Been using the Lemon and is really nice....Love it!!
Thanks to all you lot that gave me advice....Hope I can keep off the stinkies and use vaping to leave Nicotine for gd!! :)

It really is the best way to get off the fags to begin with. I couldn't believe it, even just starting with a crappy cigalike. Craving starts... a few puffs and it's gone. I never in a million years would have thought it was so easy.

Then shinyitis kicks in... whoooooole other ball game.

I am going to try and keep it and not get that itch. I love upgrading my Computer gear, but vaping has a sole purpose, and that is to quit full stop :D

Been using some of these but looking for something with a bit more oomph/longevity. Seems you have to replace the tank part every 4 or 5 refills. Do these more expensive versions last a bit longer? Anyone got any recommendations?

Has anyone used the Rok originals?

How are they? Any good? As I posted previously, I don't smoke much and would like a small ecig that resembles a normal fag.

I use the Joyetech Eroll and I love it. So small, stealthy and packs a great punch for such a small device. The battery lasts me around 1.5 days of medium usage and the whole device fits in your pocket at about 2/3 size of an iPhone.

What do you have in mind and what you wanna spend tbh. Something like a Kayfun will be night and day better, but requires more work to 'build' it. 100% worth it though. YT some vid's. :)

Best place to get a Fogger v4?
UK ECig Store?

Myepack are selling them for £20, they are the newer 4.3 version though.

Thanks, I'm thinking I may go all out for a KFL+, seems to be a good all rounder.

On a side note, my EVODs are ****ing me off, constant dry capes and leaking :(

Thinking i'll upgrade this week, KFL+ with a nemesis clone of some kind.

I ain't checked everywhere but I was looking at this site build your own bundle Seems like good prices for a UK site and has free delivery over 20 quid. They have the fogger too but it seems only the new one now that holds less liquid and has a wider chimney which people don't think will be as good.

Thanks, never realised it was all so complicated!

Its really not tbh. Once you get the hang of it its easy. Microcoil it and the coil lasts literally months, just change the wick every few tanks, depending on the juice. Once your used to it you can do it in minutes. ;)

What would you recommend for a good setup? I'd want to spend up to £200 for everything and hopefully source from UK suppliers

Tbh I'm probably not the best person to ask, I haven't really paid much attention to whats around now. But I'm still rocking a Nemesis clone(from Fasttech last year) and a Provari Mini with a KFL and KFL+, If at home its the Vamo V5 coz it last ages in lightsabre mode!

Dont forget to add Batteries and a charger along with some Kanthal and wick (cotton).

Lets see what others say is the best place to get stuff from these days. :)

I bought a nemesis and KFL + clone from eBay 5 months ago and still use them everyday alongside a fogger/jm22 combo for tank setups.

Point being you can get a lot of kit for £200 quid, and don't necessarily need to wheel out a lot of money for one/two bits of kit with the amount of dosh available.

Picked up a 6 quid Tobh from FT which arrived last Friday, the thing is bloody awesome and cost next to nothing.

For 200 quid you can get a huge supply of wire, wick, a decent charger, plenty of DIY juice mixing kit which will last months, and plenty of adequate clones.

Looking to grab a Vision V3 EGO starter kit with 30ml of juice (may look at diy juice mixing). Should I be looking at something else instead at this price level?

Don't really want to go nuts with all this as it's just there to serve the purpose of kicking the habit.

I was in the same boat as you, and I am also using vaping to quit altogether, I was advised to get the kangertech evod kit, which is about the same price as the vision kit. I can't comment on the one you have posted, but the Evod has taken me from a smoker to a non-smoker in 4 and a half day's. I don't have any urge at all to start again on stinkies :). I got 3 x 10 ml bottles, so I could try different flavours. Whatever you choose, you wont regret it! from the limited research I have done, it is so much better than smoking and already I feel a lot better, been coughing up a load of crap from my lungs, and it has disgusted me.

*For all you Vapers out there*

I have recently started Vaping, and have wondered about a few things smoking related, so would like to ask those that Vape and have quit smoking some questions. I know there is a Vaping thread, though want to know peoples opinions in a way that allows us to view certain benefits to quitting smoking and Vaping.

1: How long did you smoke for, and when did you start?

Myself, I started smoking when I was 11 and upto last Friday have been smoking for 29yrs.

2: How many did you smoke a day?

I have smoked 20 a day for about 24 yrs and then lowered that to about 6-10 a day

3: Noticeable health benefits you have personally noticed, since vaping/smoking cessation?
I have not been Vaping that long, though I can say I smell a lot cleaner, and already I have started to cough up a lot of bad stuff from my Lung's and was quite astonished at just how much is there

4: How long you have been smoke free?
I have been smoke free for just a few day's, 4 and a half so far.

5: Your concerns going fwd with Vaping (potential health risks and government legislation)

I have a few concerns that once long term studies are completed, that there will be new health risk's associated with Vaping, these concerns are unfounded as of yet, and I have read some pro E-cig articles that suggest there is likely to be very few long term health issues, if any. I don't know what the current future holds for Vaping when it becomes regulated, though have heard that it will be classed as medicinal, and will therefore potentially need a prescription from a doctor to access it.

What are your thoughts? Would be good to see other opinions and any other points I have missed debated. I feel overall that there are massive health benefits to Vaping, and we could see sales on Tobacco products decline a lot, if Vaping is regulated in the right way.
