Hopefully you can still open a rift if someone in your group has no keys (and they just cant enter)

Would stop those annoying leecher people in pubs.

Yeah. But on the other end, if you are playing with a mate, he jumps on and has no keys he cannot join you until he gets one.

I suppose can't have it all ways and this really is the happiest medium.

After the clearout of inactive and non ocuk members the OCUK clan has 61 open spaces available that should be more than enough for active OCUK members in the OS clan right?

Much better being a single key per rift, even if everyone has to contribute one (although a feature that's something along the lines of guild members and people in your friends list not having to contribute a key would be nice). Bounties are painfully boring at the moment - looking forward to 5 rifts per bounty run :)

Yeah I would rather we join in a clan too, I don't think OS has more than 61 active members though it is fairly busy.

Mak, what you do think?

Looking to get the expansion soon but I still play with my friend who has Diablo 3 vanilla and wont be getting the expansion anytime soon.

When I upgrade, will I still be able to play co-op with him with his vanilla version?

Is it possible to join the OCuk clan? im still very noobish to the game, just finished act 5 last night and have now opened up Adventure mode which is good fun.

I've been playing a week and they let me in, I don't think they care about gears. Just hit crtl+o and search for overclocker and you will find and send in a request.

There's no criteria to join bar being a member on here or having a recommendation from someone on here. There's no option to actually merge the clans it means all of us leaving one and joining the other, I don't mind which way it goes but I think it would be extremely beneficial having more people active at any time.

I jumped on for an hour before work today and did a few rifts on my DH. Picked up the last 2 Marauder pieces I needed from drops so got 6 set now :D

Not amazing rolls on the other pieces I have, but the chest rolled pretty good I think as I am playing Sentry build!

Took a whole bunch of rolls to get that CA dmg on the boots, I think ideally I would like Dex/Vita/AR and CA but it's good enough for now :)

Who's the leader for the OcUK clan? If they drop me a /w we can have a chat about number of active members etc and see if merging is viable. The options as I see them:

1) Merge the clans. Great in that we'll all be under one roof, get auto-chat and tags. Downside in that it limits the max potential size of the clan, auto-chat works for communities now once you have joined it the first time.

2) Keep both clans and use the community as a link between them. No quite all under one roof, but at least we have a way to unite all the OcUK guys together. Only issue being having to join two groups instead of one, but that's only a one off pain.

3) Ditch both clans and move solely to a community. I don't think there's much appetite for this since both clans seem to be working well at the moment.

I'm still on the side of the suggestion made earlier for Option 2, as even if we can just about cram everyone in to one clan, it's pretty much going to be at capacity from day one, which seems a shame for anyone who wants to join in the future.

I don't think there's anywhere near 150 active players anymore for both clans though, most people playing daily are the same 20-30 or so. Community option is okay but no quickjoin clan members available, legendaries auto linked to chat etc etc.

Overkill is the leader of OCUK clan, don't know his forum name though.

Option one should be fine. I don't think there are enough active members to fill a single clan. I can't see the numbers growing much as time goes on.

Yeah I am with option 1 as well - I struggle to see how the OS clan could have 60 active people, probably 20-30 actives, another 10-20 semi active people who come on occasionally. We should all fit comfortably :)

If we can all fit under one clan that would be great, i personally like having the tag above my name so wouldn't really be keen on ditching both.
Another problem you've got, is that who becomes officers for the clan? as there are already two sets.

How many open spots are on the OCuk clan? although there may be at max 30 actives you still want to have some head room for new members.

a community is a good idea but its shame you don't get any loot drop tags which is kinda cool as i like to shout at members who get gear ive been wanting for ages and cant get :D (i think i spammed the clan chat when i finally looted a piece of akkhan, i was so happy but then it turned out to be useless till get 2 in the set)

at the end of the day, either option has a down point! youve also got the problem of informing members if we do merge, although i guess you could use the message of the day thing?
