thats really a bad idea xD
1-TVs often have higher latency = bad for gaming
2-Tvs most often have refresh rate of 30hz = all games run at 30fps that sux
3-i dont know of 4K movies, or tv channels, everything is 1080p, so if you are not buying it for games(which it isnt great) buying it for movies and stuff, would be a wast of money, because there is practicaly no 4k content other than gaming.
as said above use the money to upgrade Mobo and CPU, also add some Ram 16Go would do it, and if you still planing on sli/3way you might consider getting a 1200watt PSU.

I'll defiantely look into upgrading my pc system this year, I have no idea why it has AMD technology, though I have had it for several years and it must have come with it, I'll need to know everything I need to buy to upgrade my computer to 2/possibly 3 way SLI;)
 
Basically the motherboard manufacturers in years gone by had to pay a licensing fee to nvidia so that they could use SLI on their boards. I believe this never was the case with AMD, hence why some older boards offer AMD multi-gpu compatibility but not Nvidia compatibility. Someone will likely correct me if I'm wrong.

These days, pretty much any board with multiple PCI-E slots will support either brands multi gpu flavour.
 
Could someone list and price if possible, every significant component device I would need to upgrade my PC to for decent, SLI for two of the 780TI ?

This is just very quickly done and you could possibly make some savings in 1 or 2 areas:

You could go for the 4770K which that CPU replaces, which is £20 less expensive. The 4790K has a stock speed of 4Ghz as opposed to 3.5Ghz and Turbo of 4.4Ghz as opposed to 3.9Ghz. If you don't plan on overclocking your CPU then you would be as well getting the 4790 "non K version", which is about £45 less expensive than the K, but has a slightly lower clock speed also. I would defo advise getting 1 of the i7 chips though as opposed to the i5 if you are contemplating running multi-gpu's.

Then I would assume you will require a new PSU to power everything (2 Ti's are quite power thirsty)

No worries pal, we are all newbies at some point. Don't jump the gun and go ordering all that on my advice though, I'm sure a better system builder than myself may be able to save you a few £'s here and there. But that is a very decent spec and a good starting point IMO. Best of luck.

PS 780Ti SLI is exceptional :D

I can do this one if you think it's necesary, though is it worth buying an 4.00GHZ processor when I already have an 3.00GHz Processor :confused:

Your current CPU is older tech and even at 3Ghz will still bottleneck even a single current high-end GPU, let alone 2. Unfortunately, to get the best out of your card (and subsequent 2nd card) you are going to have to switch platforms which means a new motherboard and cpu. Z97 is the platform I would recommend (the mobo I linked to is a Z97 chipset) and a current gen i7 processor. Either a 4770, 4770K, 4790 or a 4790K.

Yes I have something to say about that bit of software, after installing and running it last night, this morning when I logged on I seem to have all these pop ups and some other spyware rubbish :(

Could I use this Motherboard, instead for suitable altrnative high performance ?

Yes that is an even higher performance, but is again using an even different platform (x79) and none of the previously linked CPU's are compatible. You would require a socket 2011 CPU to use with this motherboard. This is very much the enthusiast platform at present, but with that comes very large prices also. a 4930K for example will cost ~£450

Sorry for being an bit picky, I just think that red and black motherboard looks like something the Hellghast from Killzone, would use for their computers :D

I'd prefer something blue and white or mabye yellow ;)
