It's as if Channel 5 have got the rights to make it - worst season ever and the regular appearance of z list British soap actors with awful American accents is so jarring and cringeworthy.

What's the bets for a major retcon in episode 12...
 
Anyone else finding it difficult to take Stephen Fry serious as the PM? I'm expecting some sort of General Melchett line at any moment. Plus I really do not think the PM would be acting in this way given the circumstance, at least make the role close to credible.

Series is getting better but only because there is more going on.

The whole 'faceless bad guy' thing with Navarro was pretty obvious - I suppose another downside with having 1/2 the number of episodes to develop storylines/characters

I thought some of the special effects (CGI) look like it's from the makers of Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus.... particularly the Wembley explosion... but it's '24' and I have to tune in because I've always loved it!

I did laugh at Heller's comment about Jack not being a surgeon :D

I laughed even more when he covered up the 2 inch knife wound with a sticky plaster :D

I thought the same. It seems like this series was done on a fraction of the budget of previous ones, and even though it's half as long they've only got about £30 for cgi.

I really don't understand how cgi can look like that in 2014. Terminator 2 was nearly 25 years ago...
 
I've not watched it since Episode 3. I can't be bothered. The whole plot has been pretty weak, and it feels massively below par compared to previous seasons. I think this could almost take the worst season award over 6, but we'll have to see.

The last episode was actually relatively good.

The problem is though there are so many goofs, things they are just completely unbelievable i.e. people doing stuff that someone with their supposed training for that job would never ever do, factual errors with technical stuff, etc. etc. that are plainly wrong even to your every day joe never mind someone with knowledge of the field then not to mention fairly boring plot.

The number of reused look-a-like roles as well is a bit tedious i.e. Jordan<>Milo.
 
I'm not watching any more of this. It's probably the worst thing i've ever subjected myself to! (And that's including Cloud Atlas!)
 
Still laughing at Jack sneaking about when scouting ahead (which is just going to raise suspicion if anyone sees him) when smuggling the president out, when no ones really going to bat an eye lid if they see Jack alone and acting casual. Writing is terrrrrrible.
