Just wanted to see peoples thoughts on this... It looks so sexy. Who here would fork out for one, and has anyone actually got one?

I wouldnt :) , but others have and if it there happy with it so be it each to their own
, If your benching etc i can see the appeal

Nope.

6gb Ti cards will be here any time now? also 800 series is at least 4 to 5 months away. I would wait mate. 3gb Nv are gonna be gone like the dodo soon enough with 4k around.

Of course, its a top top card and 3GB of memory is more than enough.

Considering you can get two top end 290's for that it definitely isn't worth it. It's a nice card to have to show off but in the end who really cares, it's sat inside your case and performance is what matters to 99% of us.

I did have an order in for a couple of EVGA Classified 780ti's when the Kingpin was announced.

As I thought EVGA were being just plain greedy and I thought they should be putting effort into making sure the Classified was the top card, I cancelled my order and said to hell with EVGA, the Classified and the Kingpin edition.

EVGA you trashed a top brand (the Classified) when the next gen of cards launch are people going to think twice before buying a Classified version as there may be a Kingpin edition along later.

EVGA sort out your brands and your greed so people can buy with confidence in future.

Unless I was going to use LN2 then absolutely not. Get a classi if you're into paying extra for a top-end one on air, otherwise I'd stick to reference tbh.

Depends what you want to do. If you want to be aiming for benchmark world records then it's one of the best 780ti's you can get. If you're a gamer and casual bencher then it's not worth it.

lol

Try bf4 at 5760x1080 at ultra and come back and tell me that. On my 7990 I routinely run into situations where the gameplay starts to go downhill because of lack of vram.

We all know that you love nvidia so much. But why would you recommend this card? They is much better options out there, from nvidia and amd.
What makes you think, this card is worth the asking price vs other options?

You like to see people get pinched? So long they buy nvidia.
