Motorola Moto G - new budget smartphone champion?

anyone get this from tesco online n(collect in store) and had to return it due to problems?

I've arranged for it to be repaired but need to include the receipt with the IMEI number on it when it is returned

all I can find is the collection confirmation thingy 8-)

any ideas ?

I "spoke" to Motorola on the online chat and explained it was a Tesco phone and gave them the IMEI number which they traced to official UK stock / date etc. Phone was returned direct to Motorola, 1 week later brand new phone :)
 
I popped into Phones4U tonight and picked up the new Moto G 4G.

My initial thoughts are that it has a quality feel to it; very good screen and it's mercifully free of bloatware. I especially like the slightly curved rubberised back. The glossy screen does attract fingerprints but that's a minor criticism.
 
One thing I don't like about my Moto G is that the screen rotation acts as if it has a water bubble in it! if I put the phone down, if often rotates as though something inside it has kept on moving.

Yeah it's a bit too sensitive for my liking.

Typical lol. Same when I buy something from OCUK, I wait and wait for it to become this week only or Today only and nothing.... As soon as I buy it then next day its on offer :p:D
 
I was thinking about a new phone and all of a sudden it seems I can't go wrong with this.. I'm on an SGS2 and this Moto G 4G seems to be a fairly decent upgrade, with an memory card slot, without a massive screen for a really good price.

Is this really that much of a no-brainer?

Its a cracking deal, my boss has one and absolutely loves it :) Camera is only so/so but the rest of it for the money is fantastic.
 
Looks like I went from deciding I was fed up with my phone to choosing and buying one fairly quickly!

Is it exactly the same dimensions as the Moto G - meaning I could go ahead and order a case for it?

I think its exactly the same chassis so accessories for the G are compatible.
