Unfortunately can't have both, at least not atm! Besides, I wouldn't really "need" both anyway.

Phone contract is up in April and even with the new galaxy and htc out, I think I rather have the nexus 5 purely for stock android and updates.....

Note III would be the best of the both but it is just too big for a phone imo and of course, touchwiz and slow updates.....
 
Think my nexus has just died, woke up to find it had the startup logo animation on screen, ten minutes later it was still there, held the power button down until it turned off and now I'm getting nothing from it at all :-(

yep im really wanting a nexus 5 now since i got my nexus 7,but not willing to jump in yet untill these microphone and more importantly screen issues are resolved.

yep same reason i want the 5 (and that its a good powerhouse)
 
Order one. If you get a good one you're sorted. If not and you're really unhappy with it just send it back. Google are by far the best customer service I've ever spoken to.
 
Anyone else updated to 4.4.3 yet on their N7?
Not really been using mine recently as it just runs painfully slow... Even keeping majority of the storage free hasn't been helping.

Pretty happy with the responsiveness of it after updating last night, but imagine this will mostly be down to the fresh install...

Just wanted to see if anyone else had done the upgrade, rather than the fresh install, and if it had made any difference?
 
Think I just killed mine :(

A bottle of juice exploded in my bag, covered it.. it turned on and worked fine, I put it on charge and now it's dead blank :(

Should've put it in rice first... is in there now with the back cover off but not too hopeful
 
My colleague has just got a 32GB N7 2012- by the looks of the Google loading screen it's on 4.2 or 4.3.

I have just had an absolute nightmare with my other colleagues N4 and a recent update (bootloop and a broken recovery). In the end I had to put 4.3 on with the radio from 4.2.2.

Should I be expecting a similar issue with the N7?
