*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Any Warhammer fans here ??

Hell yeah, hope it's good... though I am a little skeptical considering who the devs are.

Ok I think I'm going to switch to Sony this gen.

My local Tesco where last night doing PS4, WatchDogs and Wolfenstein for 399. Anyone got any better bundles than this?

Also the controllers seem at bit steep at £50, any place doing good deals with these?

HUKD... use it.

i had the watchdog bundle and my DS4 back triggers both squeaked like nothing else... i mean really bad.

Took it back in to Tesco and they just swapped the pad for a brand new one after speaking to sony.

Can say the new pad is awesome and no squeak

Do it. Gamestop is cheaper IIRC. Don't use high street places like Argos!

Thanks for the very insightful input. I'd already checked HUKD and couldn't find anything better, hence me asking if there was a better bundle.

Didn't know about Gamestop. Just checked and their console with WatchDogs is slightly cheaper but still think I'm getting a bit more with the Tesco deal. Cheers.

At least with Tesco you have a physical shop you can walk in if you have a complaint and get a replacement there and then. I know that doesn't matter to some, but for others it is a preference.

Well I got a replacement with no problems, even forgot to pack the power cable but had no issues.

Now the issue still persists on the new one.. still beeps like the eject button is being constantly pressed. Did a little more browsing and it seems my glossy surface is causing the eject button to be pressed. I put a little bit of folded paper to raise the console at the front and hey presto fixed!

Eh? I can't imagine what you're describing. Please elaborate.

Well I completed trine 2 the other day and I quite enjoyed it. Only downloaded it on a whim just to have a look as normally I wouldn't be interested in that type of game on the face of it but it turned out to be really fun and relaxing. Also got quite a few hours from it.

Great game considering it's free with PS+

Basically the eject button is just really sensitive and somehow it's pressing itself on my surface. There's a huge number of threads on the official playstation forum about this.

A fix is to basically lift the two front corners so the middle of the PS4 where the eject button is does not go near the surface. I'm getting a new one tomorrow anyways hopefully third time lucky.

Did you try it in 3D?

My ghetto solution until I get another replacement Thursday.

Im sure it's static causing that I have read about a few doing this on shiny surfaces. I would just put it on a diner mat or something.

Just ordered an extra dualshock controller, dual charging station and a Hitachi Travelstar 1TB ready for my PS4 purchase later this week. Total for all of that including console only 406GBP after conversion.

Really wish that The Last Of Us Remastered had been released at the beginning of this month as opposed to the end. :(
