Yep I always steep any of the juices i get, custard ones especially. The current bottle of GVC that I'm just coming to the end of has gone so dark and tastes soooooo good! :D

I wont touch the new ones for a few weeks at least.

Sat at my PC or watching TV I vape on and off all night, couple of puffs, put it down, and repeat. :)
 
How much Nicotine do you guys take?

I guess I'm a bit paranoid about inhaling so much nicotine for some reason. I'm only on the 12mg at the moment, and it seems to be fine, but I'm worried that if I keep vaping constantly, that's too much nicotine?

Sorry if it sounds stupid, I'm a noob at all this :)

And also I use the new 'MultiVape' kit, and they only have 5 flavours. Could I use another manufacturers juice in the MultiVape? And what juice manufacturer would you recommend?

Okay this is pretty complex but you aren't going to get too much from any juice you can buy made to be vaped. The little amount of blood testing that has been done shows that around 52mg / ml would be needed to get the same plasma levels as a cig. Cig have added chemicals which help and speed the absorption of nicotine.

The amount needed to overdose is much higher than you will see listed anywhere too. Basically the numbers were poorly tested on rats long ago and nobody ever really looked into it.

If you do somehow get a really large dose you will start to feel sick long before you get enough to damage you. Nicotine is fairly poisonous (just look at 100% pure and you die just about) but the levels needed are huge compared to the levels we use.

Basically we self adjust to suit ourself and would spot long before anything dangerous would happen. To give you an idea I use 24mg as my everyday enjoy it juice and 34mg or 45mg for my 'I can only vape every now and then' juice. I'm fairly unusual in my habits when it comes to nicotine levels but I'm not the only one.

On a lighter note my black and copper stingray clone came today with a black fogger v4 to match (shame I couldn't get the small chimney one)

I find myself vaping more now that I have dropped from 18mg to 6mg.

When I was on 18mg it was the same as the fags, about 3/4mins every hour.
 
I vape far more heavily than I ever smoked. Am slowly reducing the nic strength of my juices

I don't think I can wait 4 weeks.
My stuff just arrived from Alchemists Cupboard. The vanilla custard flavouring smells absolutely awesome, can't wait to make some up. The starter kits they do are pretty good to get going, I can see I'm going to need to add to it though. Definitely going to need some more dripper bottles, a funnel and maybe a long pipette.

I wouldn't worry too much about the nicotine levels, I found with normal NRT I would end up feeling shakey/sick if I took too much, when vaping though I could puff away for hours on end with no noticeable effects.

As for liquid, you can use whatever juice you like, my preference at the moment is Hangsen RY4, tobacco flavour but slightly sweet.
 
Just had my Vamo V5 and AeroTank come from FT. I used china post as I've read they are faster then Singapore Post

I graze-vape all day, instead of having 20 "meals" if you get me.

Have a few chugs, put it down, 10mins later pick it up and have another few chugs.

You will know when you have been chugging too much.

Nah, you don't really need funnels and pipettes. I used to do my measurements by the drop, but now I don't bother. I just measure it all out with a syringe. Much easier and faster really.

I stocked up on loads of bottles from FT. Everything from 50ml droppers (epic for bulk mixes, full 10ml bottle of concentrate added to your preferred base and your good to go). Also around 10 30ml bottles, and 20 10ml needle bottles for new flavours. Only costs a few quid.

Then get your VG from boots (It's marked up as value Glycerin for £1.30 per 200ml or something). Cut it 20% with Vodka. Pick up a few different sized syringes while your in. And a stock of 100ml glass bottles with childproof caps.

Then keep an eye on ukvapers / aaec for group buys on nic base. I got 2 litres for £115 delivered (I think). Sorted for cheap supplies. And 2L should do me about 10 years at current strengths.

I've got some syringes and 30ml bottles on order fairly cheap from amazon.

I'll put the pipettes and funnels on hold, I was trying to plan ahead. I was thinking when the bottles of PG and VG get low I'll need to decant them into smaller bottles so I can get the syringe to the liquid.

When my flavourings arrive from Amazon I think I'll try a Butterscotch Cappuccino.
 
When your PG/VG gets low, decant them into your 30ml bottles and then they can easily be reached with the syringe.

Or, if you are going to use the drop method, decant all bases (PG, VG and Nic) into the 30ml dropper bottles, and use from there (I guess a funnel would be quite handy if you are going to use that method). That way you are using the same droppers all the time.

But, to be honest, I rarely mix in 10ml quantities anymore, so find that measuring with the syringe is good enough for me.

Agreed, for me it's normally dehydration/mild headache. Just means it's time to lower the nic even more :p

And get yourself some flavours. Then sit back, safe in the knowledge that you have one of the very best VW devices for starting down that road. And they are, without question, my favourite clearomiser heads on the market. Nothing hits as well that I have seen. Although, I do prefer the Protank 2 with the adaptors to run the Aspire BDC coil heads, but that is purely an aesthetic thing. And the PT 2 cost more, and then you have to buy the adaptors.

There is honestly very little chance of me suggesting something else for someone starting out. Although I have only been doing them for a year, I do use some higher end gear. And yet, I still use my MVP daily it is so good.
 
What he said. I've genuinely never considered an MVP until now, but in hindsight, ti would have been a perfect place to start. :)
 
Went and dropped my MultiVape today and broke the top of it. So far it's cost me £50 in 2 days to give up smoking!

All worth it though. Absolutely loving vaping. I had a normal ciggie today when my mod broke, and it was absolutely disgusting. And this is only after 2 days of vaping.

Can't see me ever going back. Also did you hear on the news they are thinking of banning it in public places due to it encouraging children to smoke? Unreal.
